This is just another rant about how the anime wasn't even half as good as the light novel is.

Krai Andrey is pathetic but he is pitiful in the LN contrary to the anime....
the anime show him go through all sort of emotions but the Krai in LN only ever smiles..
but let's stop comparing the the two and talk about just the LN instead

Each volume in the LN is of 500+ pages where we see the story through all sorts of perspectives, the main one being of Krai Andreys of course. Each volume packs adventures so so fun, you wouldn't even know when you finished a volume(i broke my personal record by reading a 600 page volume in one day hehe). The story revolves around Krai Andreys who has had enough being a hunter and tries to hole himself up in the head office of the clan that he himself made to stay away from the adventuring life. But as luck would have it, he just can't stay out of trouble because he has accumulated a world's worth of bad luck lol(source: volume 6). The most humorous part of the story is the distorted mentality of our MC, he is unknowingly the reason why all his friendss are so strong and these veryyyy strong friends have made his definition of normal very skewed. He would often pass remarks to other hunters comparing them to his friends, call dragons mere food and do things to agitate anyone talking to him. These misunderstandings bring about stupidly hilarious encounters. Here are a few teasers/spoilers if they make you interested in reading the LN:

this is a very fun LN and i would really love if even one other person tries it
i would recommend reading from volume 3 after the anime, it contains the last auction arc and some next arc contents.

I hadn't read the LN, but listened to my friend telling me about what happened in volume 4 looked like a lot of fun

I have yet to read a LN which wasn't so badly written that I only could stand a chapter or two. Granted that might be because of sloppy translations but yeah.

I loved reading up until I didn't have real time for it. When I read I READ, engrossed in the words, language and the images it conjures. I simply do not get that with LNs. A bit sad about that really.
