so i'm currently on episode 4 but it's still about Thor and Lu Bu's fight, i was expecting some cool fights or something like that but so far it's definitely what i wasn't expecting, there isn't even that much action in the 3 eps i've watched. the way they keep on throwing backstorkies right in the middle of a fight scene, and tbh, it kind of slows things down. i get that they’re trying to add depth to the characters, but it breaks the flow of the action. instead of staying focused on the fight, you’re pulled out of the moment just to hear about some random flashback or monologue about their past. 😭

It does constantly give backstories to build the characters. If that's not for you then I'd recommend dropping it, it has some nice moments and the characters are fairly well written along with some cool fight scenes and abilities but it does feel slow and repetitive at times. I personally enjoyed it though.

If you just want to enjoy fight scenes then consider watching Dragon ball or Baki, some moments are repetitive, sure but the depth the characters got throughout the show really pulls you in, they didn't leave any character behind but gave equal amount of time to all, that is the essence of a good show.

If you don't feel like it or rather it bores you then simply drop it and watch smt else which you consider enjoying.

As a manga reader I had the feeling they washed out the fights a lot in the anime (but I might be wrong) so as someone already said there are better fighting animes to watch like baki and kengan ashura

idk about pulling me in. it pushed me away when i had to wait for a punch to land but then get teleported to a wikipedia text to speech. it wasn't even one fight, every single fight is like this. it's better to just watch a YouTube video about the Greek Gods if you're that interested in them.

Yes. Yes, it will be.

It's aweful.
The whole point of the Show is/should be cool fights.

So they made its main selling point really lame and Bad to disappoint as hard as possible.

Character depth is an important factor of a good show, The main thing I liked about this show was the backstory of various characters.

True you could watch some videos on Yt if one is interested in Greek gods but if I remember correctly only 1 Greek god's story was recalled, apart from this all other were human i-e Sasaki Kojirou, Jack the ripper, LuBu, Raiden (sumo guy) awesome characters were shown and the depiction of their backstory was well portrayed.

But it's also true that everyone has their own preferences and opinions on things.

It does that all the way through I personally don’t mind it but yeah I can see how that can be annoying watch the fight of Zeus vs Adam that’s probably the best one they have to offer if you don’t like that then maybe just drop it or something
