Is One Piece Fan Letter worth watching?

So I'm almost done with Return to Sabaody and I heard that the recently made short special "One Piece Fan Letter" takes place around the time right after this. So I'm wondering whether you think this special episode is worth watching or not. It seems to be around the length of a regular episode and it's highly praised online. It has a very unique art style and is directed by Megumi Ishitani who seems to be regarded as one of the best directors of the series. Also, the narrative is supposed to be well done as well. But what are your thoughts?

Edit: Seems like the general consensus from what people are commenting is that this special is a great watch and definitely worth watching. It looks like it could be left for later since it doesn't really fit perfectly into the timeline, but seems like I might as well just watch it now before moving onto FMI. Will let everyone know how I liked it after watching. Thanks for all your responses

One thing I'm wondering is it doesn't seem to really tie in to the main storyline (although it doesn't contradict anything either I believe), so I'd like to know whether it's actually worth taking a break for at this point in the story. Also, the storyline seems to take on a very different perspective than normal One Piece as well. I'm not necessarily asking whether it's a good watch at "some point", but rather whether I should stop to watch it now at this point.

It's definitely worth it and I'm sure it's still amazing to watch at the same time as it happens in the main show but I think it has a larger impact the more you watch of the main show beforehand. I don't think there's a perfect spot to though. Personally I watched it around eps 980.

Technically, it is filler, but it could very easily turn into canon by Oda, because it is based on a One Piece novel. It actually does fit very well into the reunion on Saobody, and we could easily see the Girl in the future if Oda chooses to make it canon in the manga and anime. It's one of the most heartfelt and beautiful episodes of One Piece to date, so I think everybody who's watched it has already considered it canon in their hearts anyways. You could definitely leave it for later, though, if you want to. Just make sure you come back and watch it at some point.

If people told you it's not worth it, would you not watch it?

@Zarutaku That depends. In this case, I was leaning towards watching it, but in other cases, I might be more indecisive or leaning towards skipping.

That's why I like to hear people's opinions here first
