ok, so Gorilla is confirmed to be a shadow warrior. Also massive Hype for Lineal. No matter the context to even get Serie on her knees at any point in time is insane for a human mage. Remember Macht? he couldn't even do anything to Serie. She played with him like a toy. So Lineal must be insane in combat to be able to do that and for Serie to trust her enough to send her on this dangerous of a mission. I thought before that the strongest human mage might be Lernen but I guess in combat Lineal might just be the strongest human mage so far?

The empire also did dissolve the shadow warriors so what the shadow warriors do right now isn't exactly what the empire wants right now? So it might become a three-way battle between the CMA, the Empire mages, and the shadow warriors?

Also no way Serie forgot about Frieren right? the disrespect lol saying she's the only one who remembers Flamme when Frieren is literally there still alive as well

@Rexnihilo Yes. They were dissolved because what the field commanders think is best for the Empire and what the Emperor thinks is best are not always the same. This is a rogue cell that continues to operate under the belief they are still doing what is best regardless. So it will likely becoming a three-way fight.

I think Serie was talking about her memories of Flamme as a child. Frieren didn’t know that part of Flamme. Serie seems to think about her as a child often unlike her other apprentices.

Hmm, so it's the Empire vs Shadow warriors vs Magic association.

Hoh, Lineal forced Serie to kneel! Can't wait to see how crazy she is in combat!

Now confirmed, Gorilla is one of the Shadow warriors. Reunion with Sein will be sad.

No Frieren for few weeks... that's sadder.

So the shadow warriors went rogue after being dissolved even though their ideology initially alligned but it started to differ over the years after the empire/emperor changed having going through generations. Ye knew they were just upto no good lol. But now that they have the information Frieren and co will have better time fighting them. Also the other guy was gorilla after all. Sein's reaction says it all.

Yep, all these years of searching and Gorilla was actually a shadow warrior. It's 99.9% confirmed. You can feel for Sein.

Also, was Lineal ever mentioned before? Could be my bad memory but I just can't seem to recall.

@Softhenic03 Well she is actually a very influential character in this arc. Since she was the one who informed that empire is planning to assassinate serie to the central magic association. She is a spy for CMA first mentioned by falsch and sense in ch 126. Her first appearance was in CH 127 in a flashback where ubel said lineal is strange because quote "She spent the entire day glazing at butterflies at the garden" after that land replied saying ubel is equally as weird for witnessing this event
