Wow, Dali really does trust Wolf even on a personal level. I know they've had a close relationship throughout this show but telling her secrets to him...

Not going to lie, I think Dali looked more cuter than usual. The chemistry between her and Wolf truly is a selling point in this show.

Dahlia being summoned to the palace from the Captain of the Monster Suppression Force, she's thankful to Grat Baroloni for inviting her as thanks for the foot-fungus combatting socks and insoles, which has since been marketed and produced for the masses. The intention of the knights so far on their current shoes which harness the disease, Dahlia's explanations may have accosted them to preventive measures, and their conviction is just as fiery as methods to completely kill foot fungus like Wolfred's idea of severing their feet to get the Church to regenerate new pairs, he just doesn't get her idea completely, which is just to exercise vigilance and keep their foot clean.

Basically put, Wolfred almost made a grave mistake, but he's just as bad when it comes to things like romance, which the other knights thankfully have him covered to compensate to Dahlia by offering her flowers and choux creme buns, keeping the business dealing with the Rossetti Company a closed-door secret. Wolfred getting to know Dahlia better is a good start with Disasradu (meaning whatever/anything), starting with her complicated family history that under circumstances, left her with her late father Carlo as she knows and remembers. It's the same with Wolfred sharing his noble family that has suffered great losses like Dahlia's, and the title drop of Dahlia "won't tilt/hang her head" does come into play here, as well as the meaning of her name "Dahliya" in singular form and "Dahlia" in plural form, being supported by the people around her.

Dahlia is more than just her relationship with Wolfred, it's the people that made her for who she is.

“Standing tall not hanging her head blossoming up to the sky, that’s who you are dahlia” 😒 beautiful and intimate scenes at the end with Wolf and Dahliya finally opening up to one another.

This episode reminded me how little they actually knew about one another. Yea, they’re good friends and have quite a few experiences with one another now, but only surface level stuff. The meeting with Wolf’s general and other top brass actually ended up being the catalyst for Dahliya and Wolf getting closer so it’s a good thing Wolf made her feel awkward there I guess lol

Everyone being shocked to learn about foot fungus and how they need to wash their nasty ass feet was killing me. It’s amazing how far we’ve come as a society to make advances in personal hygiene. The military guys might not have known how to prevent foot fungus until Dahliya came around, but they know a thing or two about keeping women happy so it all worked out in the end with them pushing Wolf to make things up with Dahliya.

A couple interesting things I took away from Wolf and Dahliya’s no holds barred honesty session is that 1:Dahliya doesn’t really remember her life on earth and thinks of it as a nightmare, which working for many Japanese companies is.. I wonder if she’ll ever get her memories back. 2:Her mom and dad story was really sad man, I imagine her mom was forced to leave the dad because her parents didn’t want her marrying him. 3: Wolf’s mom dying to protect his brother and his mom is definitely a tuff situation and I totally get why they had a rocky relationship now. That’s pretty awkward

Feels like Dahliya and Wolf took a huge step forward today, I’m liking the slow burn of their relationship and hope they continue building so that when it does come time for that inevitable romance it’ll feel so well deserved for both :). One last episode next week :/

Jokes aside, the important information is that church can even heal amputee, that means this anime actually set in high fantasy world, but we just happen to focus on the small part of the town (like Ascendance of a Bookworm).

Incredibly accurate depiction of getting a bunch of military dudes in a room together and having them try to solve a very simple problem

Dahlia is truly representing the symbol of the flower “dahlia”. Even though she’s having hardships in her life, she keeps blooming and move on into the next challenges.

Wolf is so kind and supportive, Dahlia is so lucky to have him beside her. That dream-entering magic device would be useful, but I think it’s kind of impossible.

With the revelation on how Dahliya's name is spelled in this episode being a small plot point, it now seems like a pointless change in the English title/dubs of her name to Dahlia, being changed for no good reason. Perhaps it was the hubris of the localizers who thought the latter spelling was more common.

Wow...so Dahliya's mother was a fucking bitch, huh. Abandoning both her husband and newborn daughter right after birth, where she was the one who instigated the marriage to Dahliya's father in the first place, only to end up marrying another man. Since she died a few years later of illness, maybe it was karma. Zero sympathy for the mother. Divorcing the dad was one thing, but she deserves to burn in hell for abandoning Dahliya as a baby.

Honestly based of what Dahlia said I wonder if she actually even remembers her first life, cause to her it just seems like a nightmare. Its possible her memories of her past life have dulled over the time she's had in her second life and she's probably for the most part just completely forgotten them.

That foot fungus discussions was rather entertaining.
I don't think that guy realizes how much it would hurt to have your foot cut off.
I like the part where Wolf thought Dahlia had experience with it.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

My thoughts on this episode:

(apologize in advance if it sounds like I'm rambling; I'm watching the episode and writing my post in real time, so these are my genuine reactions as I go along)

"Someone from the monster suppression force will come to escort you"

Meanwhile in my head- "Wolf will be here shortly since he's the only character from that unit that we as watchers actually care about at the moment". Regardless, great way to introduce him in the episode

For the curious about foot fungus/athlete's foot- since we don't have the privilege of Dahlia's socks and insoles in the real world... the medicine is called Terbinafine; its available as a cream over the counter, but you could also get pills with a prescription

Chopping off feet to cure foot fungus... well, not the craziest idea in medicine I've heard, but seems a bit extreme, wouldn't you think? Of course Dahlia is the only level headed one in the room at this moment.

Good thing Wolf listened to their advice... Wolf and Dahlia's relationship has been great to see and it would be sad to see their friendship end like that, especially since the season is almost over

When she got into the flower stuff... not going to lie that was pretty sad; the whole being alone thing. According to the show's wiki she's about 19 or so. I consider myself to be very fortunate to still have both my parents at 30

Man, what is it with anime and dead mothers? I mean, main character Dahlia is one thing, but Wolf too? I concede we've known this for a while, but come on, this trope is so overdone.

Huh; fascinating- was expecting Dahlia to confide that she had memories of a past life, yet instead she merely alluded to her past rather than outright say it. An interesting take no doubt.

Overall, a very nice episode and I can't believe there's only one left in the season. While romance may not be in the cards just yet think its clear to see Dahlia and Wolf's relationship had certainly progressed if they trust each other enough to confide secrets like that in one another. Can't say I'm excited for next week though; the last episode and would've loved to see more of the story. Can only hope the story we do get ends on a satisfying note

That meeting was absolutely hilarious ahahaha. Chopping off the leg and implying Dahlia had foot fungus XD. Poor Dahlia.
The two telling secrets was also soo sweet. Ahhh! Makes me wish they get together already!

Also the military barracks really is a breeding ground for diseases not just foot fungus. Spanish flu being the most famous but also COVID as several navy ships had vast majority of the crew infected. I have family who was in basic and by the end of it, everyone in the barracks came down with a really bad case of the flu. Granted, it was just the flu and were all obviously healthy young adults... But pretty nasty place. I'm sure any infectious disease specialists would have nightmares seeing military barracks.

Dahliya dropping factual truths from her previous life like it's nothing at the meeting with the soldiers.
It's so hilarious, that I'm laughing out load. 🀣🀣🀣

The end scene looks like a confession to me, but somehow it's not. What an epic episode this is!

I really love her reactions. It's rather sad we don't get more of it.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
