Their mission to deal with the Emperor started but man, this looked rough. I don't mean the fights but just the way it was progressing...definitely not entertaining worthy.

For some reason, they decided to give Satou some time to shine lol

The dual operation gets underway, both a Feint and the actual Power Station shutdown to get to the Emperor's Tower, and nothing says trouble quite like manipulated puppets surrounding the building. All they need to do is to lure the puppets away from the building and power stations, but Sato forgot the device Bourinmaru gave him, leaving to Eren going to get for him instead.

As much as Yagihashi preps his sortie, Satou being a two-faced character still believing that Saneatsu and the rest will do the work, at least he did his part to contribute to the greater cause, allowing the main group to infiltrate the Emperor's Tower with ease with the power down. No matter how many puppets of corpses and servants they have to weave though, time is of the essence, and the Emperor knowing of Saneatsu's Parental Authority enough for him to renounce it to grant them access straight to him.

Well, at least they've reached the endgame...let's see what this Emperor is made of.

Well things definitely happened this episode, but I gotta say the “zombies” were pretty underwhelming, they didn’t really do much and what little they did do was cut away before we could see anything, like when two of the extras supposedly died, I had a feeling at least some of them wouldn’t make it, at least the babe is still alive lol. The machine gun zombie seemed like he might put up a fight, but Omi and Ryuuta quickly shut him down, I also thought he might be Sudo’s corpse since the zombie looked kinda unique but I guess he just looked different lol.

There was also Kazuhiko’s sacrifice, I had a feeling that would happen after he sent Eren off on her own, turns out he’s had explosion in his moveset all this time lol, I appreciate the balls to kill off a character we’ve known for a while, but I’m not writing him off until it is confirmed, they absolutely might pull out Iruga to save him or something. And although it took Saneatsu getting rid of his parent right, we’ve finally come face to face with the emperor that started all of this, this little twerp of a kid killed so many people with his little game, I’m wondering how the confrontation will go down. I just know there’s a whole lot of show to go from here for this to be the end, I feel like something will go wrong.

even after all this time, I've got to drop this shit. It is literally one of the worst shows I've ever had the misfortune of giving a chance. Absolute garbage, and not the fun kind.

I haven’t read the manga for this at all, but I’m getting a feeling like this has similar adaptation issues as Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer. The animation is unremarkable (the way the mouths are animated when in side view is kind of weird too), the pacing and tension levels are just muddled mush. The bgm is okay and the voice cast is pretty good. I still wouldn’t rate it lower than 6 out of 10 though.

Once again this anime is kinda really bad but I am still loving it every episode. I have no idea how they will stretch it to 24-ish episodes tho.

It looks like they're reaching the conclusion soon but I read somewhere that this show will be 2 cours long? No idea how they plan on making that happen but I will be here to see this trainwreck play out as for some reason I actually kinda love it ahahaha
