In S1 part 2 and S2 the story didn't progress at all. New characters coming and going, the main trio playing family. No Story!!!
Atlest Shinchan or Doraemon were 1000x better experience because these series didn't try to pretend that they will have a storyline.
If you're still in doubt just ask yourself how much character progression Anya did respect to the required level to get that many stella for the misdion? She is still the dumb brat. That's why she only got one in 3 season.

u say anya is dumb. But by saying spyxfamily does not have storyline, u proved that you are more dumber than her. I agree that shinchan has better humour than spyxfamily but shinchan is supposed to be only comedy anime but spyxfamily also focuses on another aspect.
And one more thing, not having a good storyline or does not having a progressive storyline is entirely different than saying it have no storyline.
(Btw spy x family got a pretty good storyline atleast in my opinion)

Spy x Family had a head start of a story to stop both countries from war, being part of a false family as each of them having individual motivations, but then what? The stroy is stuck at that stage, Anya made 0 progress with gaining Stella (maybe she got 1). I mean there are literall shows that doesn't get constant story progression but in exchange they offer something more important (like in Gintama, my bad most of the people in this thread are beginners so Gintama as a example might be asking for too much).
