Gotta admire Haga for trying to make his life better along with his traveling companion Nikola.

Nikola's fascination about classes were all over the place. I can't imaginer her taking on all those roles but she's a curious one!

Nikola has such an endearing personality. She would be awesome as Nikola the Wandering Female Warrior. Nikola the Normal Villager sounds pretty cute too, hehe.

I feel sorry for Amano. Ruu really came back to alive, but she lost her memories as well.

That skull weapon is cool. And wow! Nikola has some immense powers. Maybe it's indeed a bug, but anyway.

R.I.P Boss. That came literally out of nowhere.

I can't wait to learn more about that elf girl, Akira.

My sweet Nikola, she was so excited to change into any class : (

The president death really caught me off guard, I felt kinda bad for him since he was on his breaking point and suddenly he was cut in half.

This time around the half-episode illustrations were really cute.

So Nikola has basically become an NPC version of Megumin from now on.

The president was more of an honest person than I expected. Two different assassination attempts is insane. He must of been truly hated.

Haga starting to break his debugging ethics just a little bit by deciding not to report the effect of Nikola using the skull. All because he's got a soft spot for her. Perhaps the start of a slippery slope to eventually using his debug stone?

This episode we got a resolution to Amano's story with Ruu. It's what I was expecting would happen when resurrected. Kinda boring imo.
We got a confirmation that terrain (or at least buildings) are destructible, which helps explain the Tower Jenga from last week. (Still not fully)
Finally, we learn that fear is a mechanic and that a player's mental state can be affected by in-game items.
Last week, I was wondering if the game can take motor control away from the player, but now it seems like it can completely control the brain!
That has some serious philosophical and legal implications, which I'm not going to get into right now.
I'm just saying the potential is there...

Very emotional episode. I don't think that boss guy had to die...it was actually really sad. Luu not remembering was expected but that was one heck of a cliffhanger. Also, did he get a report from the higher ups? I thought they didn't get orders anymore.

@gorkthe134th maybe that's why they can die...if the brain is affected, and they truly think they are dead, i assume they are in a coma at that point. brain dead perhaps. i wonder if they can't log out because the company wants to absolve itself from legal implications but also needs the debuggers to figure out how to fix it before release?

@StateofOhayo I do believe that the developers could have imprisoned them there, but I don't think it would be as simple as there being a bug.
They could go the route of the developers being the villains who trapped them to get free debugging done, without caring what happens to them.
Or what I find more likely is that the game's Meta AIs were too powerful and took control of the game and they are the ones fixing bugs.
Either way, the main characters are slaves. (Another isekai with slavery yay!🙃)

It’s a pity the boss died, he had potential as a character. But hey, at least the cute OP elf has arrived. xD

The Bayle Castle main quest may be over, but Amano clearly is still in debt of his boss killing Luu, and that he has a way to revive her.

The castle's happenings have Haga procure a backlog of bugs to report, though the secret deal with Amano and the boss of finding the former's debugger stone and using it with the console command code that the latter only knows to go to Luu's grave and revive her. Haga, however, is very simple-minded, and trusts Amano with whatever he's doing, and brings Nikola to get an adventurer job, but she's an NPC stuck to her role, and Haga can't exactly do anything for her, but to carry the lie through.

The deed is done, and Amano indeed got Luu back at her original location, though it also is ridden with the reset of her memories as well. Too bad for Amano, there's just nothing he could do. Back to Nikola, the smaller the weapon the better, and Haga being given a skull that manifests his magic powers based on his level, which he is able to power it effiecientlyefficiently. Come with Nikola on the other hand, and that power is exponentially magnified, leaving Haga to pay for the store's damages and the skull as well.

With no will to live on, Amano begrudges his living, and his boss going on a rampage to give him a pep talk of living before getting slashed clean in half by a mysterious adventurer, to then be invited to Haga's place...who exactly is this Akira Kagami of Entermation?

Why are there so many different playtesting companies on the same server? Seems inefficient.

So many? Only three so far, with a fairly small number of employees at that.

Considering most companies would only hire one in total, or at most one per region (for testing localisation), yes, that's a lot.

That's utterly false.
Go on MobyGames, search for modern MMORPG titles and look at how many QA testers worked on the games.

The boss dying was the best thing this episode outside of Nikola's imagination. I could see him using the pad to make the world a terrible place. I felt bad about his child, but he was a terrible person.

Hmm so Boss didn't lie, they managed to resurrect NPC, but her losing memories was expected.

What I did NOT expect was for Boss to get sliced in half!!! It's the same mysterious knight and she's human too. Why the heck did she kill Boss though??? I was starting to like that guy. Guess he shouldn't have risen massive death flag with talk about wanting to see his wife and child.

Nikola obtained the skull from the poster! And it seems her and skull combo is broken!

@Mirality as long as bug reports are sent in through a centralized reporting software (look up JIRA) it actually wouldnt be that inefficient at all.

The one thing the show hasnt shown is that debuggers usually check to see if a bug has been sent already or not. But in a real world situation, this would be common sense to do, therefore having multiple companies wouldnt be that big of a detriment.
