I think it's pretty much confirmed that they'll just stay friends after the roof conversation. I can see the MC ending up with 1 of the other 2 losing heroins, but not Anna.
| @Yosakusan The MC says that after 2 or 3 years, he will think about their friendship again. So Anna route is still wide open, but a very long one, similar to Yukino in Oregairu. These two basically act like a married couple. They blend so well together and have no "cliche" trope such as easily getting embarrassed, shy, or blushing from being together. Casually eating together and Anna barge into his house like she owns it really make the stock rising up. |

| I think the secret sauce that makes this relationship works is that its simultaneously teasing it eventually moving in romantic directions but also throwing in the ambiguity of it staying platonic that kind of makes you want to root for it more. The romances that get the most out of people are ones people arent entirely sure they actually will happen, like as it is now I'm 95% certain its building towards that over time but just having that 5% of maybe not makes it work so much more. The downside is the risk of it upsetting the viewer if it goes against that expectation but hey you cant build suspense if your fully expecting what you want to happen is guaranteed and you're just waiting for it. |

| Every time I see such topics, I want to once again remind people of the obviousness of one or another ending in a show like this. But...then I remember how a lot of people sincerely expected Eren to be gay, yes. But back to the topic, yes, I think MC x Anna is more than obvious. |

@RobertBobert well I'm also ready for another ending if nukumisu end up with another girl but it's just that i like anna more than any girl so obviously i will root her to end up with nukumizu also because of their chemistry l like them together besides its just a personal opinion everyone have preferences in case of a harem also lol for that eren part ππ
| @Anshul_003 She's the central female character and the first girl, so I think the answer is already obvious. But as far as personal preference goes, I'd be rooting for Lemon as the ultimate childhood friend on the show right now. |

| It's pretty hard to predict who's going to end up with the MC, if at all. I know that some authors like to fuck with the fans and do a 180 on the plot at some point, something you never expected. I just hope it does not end up like that. Assuming that only the 3 girls are the main interests, chika has the most possibility as far as I can tell, the development they had the last episodes were gigantic. Lemon kind of feels like she's just a friend, not sure about anna as she (apparently) still is not over his ex, even after seeing them aggresively licking an ice cream together or hard core kissing. The last episode would've been the answer, but apparently that was an anime only ending so no. With speculation, I still do think that anna will be the one. The studio can't change the original story much, so the last episode has to at least contain some cannon content. If they decided to drop a hint that anna kissed or started liking the mc (as shown in the ferris wheel scene), then it must mean that, that is true. The studio possibly can't talk their way out of that. After all, season 2 will begin where season 1 ended. So we can say that the ferris wheel scene is genuine, therefore ranking Anna the highest. edit: I'd also like to add that anna mentioned that she might have lost her innocence to MC, which MC said he protected her innocence. So it is possible that anna really did try to kiss him but he stopped her. Anyhow, some development did happen there. |
