| Anos facing Golroana, though Naya's Divine Dragon of Cannibal is quite the surprise he was not expecting to find, being the shape of the city as a sound itself, which the former find it ludicrous to target the God of Vestiges for in the Underground World. And now, Giordal wants to use the Divine Dragon to break through the surface to provide wealth to its people, which to Anos, the 1500 years waiting for that is nothing but a farce of the gods for the Land of Vestiges. Even with the Vestiges under Golroana's control, they're not enough to decimate Anos, for a thinking that is stuck in the past, against one aiming for the future. Seven steps from the Child of Destruction against Liebarschend, all in an effort to recover Arcana's memories...as Genedonov, the Goddess of Lies and Betrayal. Despite all of Arcana's memories seen thus far, her dream of Anos being her older brother figure, despite being a fake created by the Moon of Creation, that dream still remains true to her heart. And Anos saw that dream as a true fealty against all the other lies, and even if she were to betray him, he would not allow her to do so. In th end, it was all a misguided series of events that Golroana took the wrong approach, and the Underground World can actually profit if things were done correctly. The most important of all, Arcana is finally accepted as his sister. Well, be thankful to rejoice that Maou Gakuin is finally over after numerous delays. I know I won't be missing much of Season 2, such a massive disappointment of a show. |

| The final battle between Dilhade and Jiordal. The battle between Dilhade and Jiordal intensifies. However, Anos senses something amiss with Jiordal's seemingly weak forces. When Cannibal, Naya's pet dragon, bursts out from the castle and devours the song of the divine dragon, a realization dawns on him. Jiordal's 1500-year-long prayer has been an unending wall separating the two incompatible nations. Suddenly, both the song of the Divine Dragon and Cannibal disappear, though Cannibal's growls can still be heard. This leads Anos to realize that the song echoing throughout Jiordal is the Divine Dragon itself, whose body is entirely made of sound, and Cannibal has eaten a small portion of it. Aniplex... PLEASE, no more seasons. Let this series rest in peace. No more mediocrity. |

| how have you even watched this? I heard the final episode was delayed indefinitely after a 3-week delay because they couldn't get a time slot. this whole show is such trash and every single season seems to have some delay in nearly every episode. 1 out of 10 |

| Welp, that's it for the almighty Demon King who's able to beat anything except for production delays. This was probably the season where I zoned out the most during the long explanations about a made up divine rule or whatever to the point that I tried even watching one episode without subtitles and I understood all the same. In any case, this season could have ended after the first arc with the focus on Emilia but it decided to go on with the rather boring and disappointing conclusion to the trials. If it weren't for Anos's parents I would have fallen asleep by the end of the episode. Worst season so far and I hope that no more adaptations come if the results are gonna be like the last 2. |

| I've watched tons of animes and let me tell you if Anos didn't exist this would literally be the first show I've ever dropped. This was the most unbearable split seasons I've ever watched. The first season was good but this was trash. The animation actually got so bad part way through the episode they just stopped properly animating it. The only good things about this season was Emilia, Anos and Arcana. Misha and Sasha felt so dull compared to the first season and I'm pretty sure Anos's parents have just gone insane after this last split season, and I don't blame them This is one of the worst anime I've ever watched. |

I don’t think i have ever rated an anime like this but.. 0/10 what a disaster was this? So much potential, s1 was really good and this season was just terrible.. both first & 2nd cours. Terrible cgi dragons, cringe singing, the most random characters, plot that made 0 sense…this was truly a waste of time

| Who would win, all the gods or a few footsteps from Anos? Well, it’s finally over after months of delays. Arguably the biggest fall from grace of any really popular show. This took the world by storm in 2020 with a fun spin on a rather generic premise and great characters and action. Season 2 was full of convoluted speeches. Confusing lore and plot points and this whole god selection thing just got to be too much by the end. Probably comes across a lot better in text format, but we got overwhelmed during this anime. This finale was pretty much more of the same other than the arcana reveal. So we spend the entire season warming up to Anos and Arcana being siblings and then they pull an “oops, they’re not actually siblings, Arcana just wanted someone like Anos there for her when she was a kid” her being the goddess of absurdity and betrayal and lies just seems like it came out of nowhere. I’m willing to overlook that somewhat because Arcana and Anos hugging at the end was really sweet and now I want an OVA episode of them just doing slice of life shit with Anos’ mom tweaking out lol. The ground stepping shit to take out liebarschend was so absurd(pun intended) it made me burst out laughing. Buddy did all that praying and shit just for no god to come save him in the end. He should’ve known better. The only thing that can beat Anos is Aniplex production issues. Hate to pin it on one guy , but it really did fall off once the old seiyuu got replaced for cheating on LiSA 😭 |

| At last, we got the finale to this part of Season 2 and the season as a whole, and it was a pretty good episode overall, we got to see Anos finally deal with Golroana and the God of Vestiges, although the way he won was pretty cheesy but this is Anos after all lol, man just made up a move and said bye bye to that “invincible” world. And there was also the reveal that after all of the flashbacks in this season, Arcana is not Anos’ actual sister, but it was all something she dreamed up, and that she’s also the Goddess of Absurdity, not Misha and Sasha’s fusion like we were lead to believe, and I’m ngl this did seem like it came out of nowhere but really it doesn’t matter, because Anos made her dream a reality and managed to win thanks to this. And the last moments of the episode were kinda wholesome with Anos exposing Sasha’s past with him and Anos’ parents’ reaction to the crying Arcana, his dad even pulled out an Anos-like line lol, a good moment to end on. And after looking at some other folks’ posts, I can say I am not with MAL on this one, while I definitely agree that the delays for this season sucked and made what was already a bit confusing plot even more confusing, I don’t think this was a bad season. This was the first story to take place after the whole Dilhevia situation which was the plot of both Season 1 and the first half of this season, and I think it had a lot of cool moments and interesting new characters, as well as good moments for older characters like Emilia which was one of my personal favorite parts of this season. All this being said, I do have my gripes with this season, the biggest being the ugly as sin CGI dragons, those things are an absolute stain on this season, it would’ve been fine if they were just for a handful of scenes but they were actually a major part of the plot so we never truly escaped them, not even in this final episode lol. Another issue I had was the slight lack of Misha and Sasha content, yes they were there and had good moments, their fusion was especially cool, but compared to previous seasons they were unfortunately underused, a shame because they are one of my favorite parts of the show. Yeah I can definitely say this part of the season is probably my least favorite in the series, I thought the first part was pretty strong but they couldn’t quite keep the ball rolling going into the second part, with no help by the delays lol, but I still enjoyed this season and would be down for more adventures with Anos and the gang, I doubt we’ll ever see more but I will be there if there is, hopefully they can air the season all in one go if it happens lol. And lastly I gotta mention the OP and ED, if there’s one thing they didn’t miss with it’s the jams, both are so damn good like the ones that came before it, very happy we heard them both in the finale. |

| I had forgotten about the premiere of the final. It's a shame what happened to this anime. From a good and interesting first season, it went to a very poor second season. At least the first part featured the development of Shin and Leno, but this second part has been a total disappointment. Even Emilia's redemption didn't help. Coupled with the production issues and the terrible CGI, I don't want them to make any more seasons and I'd rather they leave Anos' story here if they're going to deliver something like this. |

| A very sweet ending who sees Arcana becoming the demon king little sister for real. Also loved the parents at the end of the episode haha. Overall, a very fine second part to this season, even though not quite as strong on an emotional level as the first part, or the first season. It was still very enjoyable, lots of interesting ideas with the underground world and the growth of some characters, plus lots of fun moments and one-liners. 7 is my rating for the season! |

| I still love these characters and all, but please stop. Silver Link, Kadokawa, Aniplex, please stop. If this is what we're going to get, I'd rather we don't get any more seasons. Though if they do, I'd still watch it anyway lmao. Despite cour 1 also having issues, it still had its moments, even making me emotional for one of those moments, for this cour however, I thought nothing stood out, the delays definitely did not help. I did like Anos and Arcana's sibling relationship and the last part of this episode with the parents was really funny, but man, it's a far cry from how enjoyable season 1 was. |

| S1 was ok, I was surprised it had an S2 but that one was barely tolerable. But this one. Man. The confusion was just insane, they fucking suck at storytelling. All these stupid names: gedunumbum, gareolosrjalewm. Fuck that. And the flashbacks, wtf are those? Why are they always so blurry? Felt like I had a cataract or something. I can only blame myself for still watching this though, and fucking finishing it. And Netflix too, cause this show was always on my face whenever I open that app. 4. I swear if this shit gets another sequel. Tons of shows out there that's more deserving but didn't even get a season 2. |

| @Phantom_373 I do agree with most things you said, but I hope the "stopped properly animating it" is not related with the scene that is sketch-like with the draw lines, etc, because that's a visual representation of Anos destroying the foundation of that inner world of the God and is probably the best directed scene since the black and white scene from Leno's arc, and I say that to not say the second scene worth watching in the whole season. |

| Well I'm glad this is finally over. I stopped trying to understand this show a long time ago, so this is truly where I will end my journey. First season was alright, second season was bad and this was just plain awful. 1/10 |

| There were some significant character development for various characters that had been left on the sidelines, especially for Emilia. At least the mystery about Arcana was resolved. But the very first plot point regarding Militia that was present since the very first episode of this part (and the last scene from the previous part) was never revisited, what's worse is another new character and mystery appeared in the form of Ceris, who claims to be Anos's father. I know they are leaving lots of plot points hanging, along with an open ending, to allow for a possible season 3 but who knows when that will ever come? The delays in part 1 and part 2 really makes it frustrating to watch this anime at times. What's worse is there were delays back in season 1 as well, so you would think they would have fixed their planning and scheduling by season 2 part 2 but it sure doesn't seem like it. Hopefully, if there's ever a season 3, it would run uninterrupted without any delays... |
| Even with all of the production issues and me not understanding the plot most of the time I still have a soft spot for this show, it was pretty cute to end the show with Ano's parents, they are the best, I know everyone hated the show but I hope it keeps going, but I won't deny the first season was so over the top but fun and there were just but a few pretty good moments for both parts of season 2, at least we got confirmation of Leno being well in the end. The OP was amazing and a lovely ED. |
