At first, I thought the fast-paced conversations were intended to add dynamism and comedy. However, after a few episodes, it felt like I was watching the show at 1.25x speed. Every scene, whether it's action-packed, emotional, or a transition between scenes, felt too rushed.
I've seen people complain about the story moving too fast or the fast dialogue, but other anime have done this before and it never bothered me. I think it was especially apparent in the last episode,

I haven't seen people talking about it so I was wondering if it was just me or does anybody feels the same way?

Same here. Feels like everything sped up starting from episode 8.

Felt the same because this anime would have been more fleshed out if it had a 24 episode run
Original animes always create this blunder that makes wonderful concepts sped up or stretched to the moon for no reason most of the time

I found the speed really funny. It might be a problem for some people and I understand...

Yeah, I like slower-paced series in general, but I know what you mean in that my preferences on that front aside, I can still discern the difference between normal fast-pacing which, may not be my preference or ideal, but is what it is, and the pacing in this series which is often quite absurd. But then there's a meta-level question of distinguishing how intentional or purposeful it is in the sense of actually being baked into the story itself and serving some narrative purpose. It does play into the absurdism of the world and situation.

When I realized they were going for the more zany, over the top, comedic angle toward a post-apocalyptic dystopia scenario, it did seemed to fit more, but it still does seem a bit much at times. Particularly in sections of the dialogue when important details are being discussed (and sped past and glossed over) or how it does actively harm the ability to foster any sense of emotional resonance around any one scene because it already feels prepped and gearing up to move on to the next scene midstream.

Regardless, although this series is an extreme example, to me it's just yet another case in a long long line of many 11 - 13 episode one-cour drama, mystery, fantasy, adventure, Sci-Fi, etc. shows with very creative, thought-provoking, and fascinating ideas whose wings are clipped as they're boxed in by the constraints of the runtime. It's like an 8, 9, or 10/10-tier idea which can't rise beyond a 6 or 7/10 series in practice because the episode allotment just means that so damn much is rushed or cut out.

I figure the only saving grace is that I'd rather have a rushed interesting series, even when it comes out as the freestyle bullet point notes of an ADHD kid snorting a mixture of cocaine and methamphetamines on a caffeine and sugar high, than a rushed uninteresting series.

It's not a few people many did find it annoying that there are so many stations but it skips everything after baiting us about it

Wouldn't you skip most of it after the brain eating mushrooms? It's an even logically acceptable decision from the girls.

@ktg Besides, having episodes for each station would have just been repetitive and formulaic.
Pretend there's something flashy and cool here.
