| Shinomiya rocked it 😎 She completely broke down the defensive structure. Fortitude 9.0!!!! this kaiju No. 10 is really a though one. Vice-Captian it's gonna be hard. Our kafka's fortitude is above 9.0 so we do need to fret. Kafka he needs be deployed at the training centre at the earliest.  |

| Pulling out the big guns now it seems. Soushirou ponders the humanoid features of Kaiju No. 8 and No. 9, contemplating the unsettling developments in the world of kaijus. Meanwhile, Kafka is determined to intensify his training to meet Soushirou's high expectations. However, as he returns to the dorms, a shower of meteors blankets the city, startling the members of the defense force. Amid the chaos, Soushirou demands immediate information from Konomi about the situation. She speculates that kaijus have infiltrated the area, all likely base monster level threats. Her speculation proves accurate when one of the monsters unleashes a cannon-like attack from its mouth. Kafka looks up just seconds before the meteors start falling... lol ok. It seems we're finally getting those Godzilla-like kaijus, and ofc, the designs are immaculate. red kaiju has one helluva force, with all these Godzilla wyvern kaijus at his command. They seemed unbeatable, until best girl Kikoru shows up and takes one down in ONE SHOT. The reaper scythe they've been hiding is hella powerful, especially in Kikoru's hands. But it wasn't just Kikoru who went crazy this episode; everyone in the third division did. And that fight with Soushirou and red kaiju... wow, just peak. Though it wasn’t enough... obviously. Phenomenal episode I.G. It didn't even feel like I was watching Kaiju No. 8. This final arc is going to be insane, no doubt. |

| Well sure, just two episodes ago when number 9 attacked, most of these troop members failed spectacularly. So what to do then? Throw in another numbered monster and watch them fail again, right? I mean we’d have had a breathing period lol, or would we have it only when some of them will actually end up dying? The scale of destruction says it itself how green most of these people are. By the way, the animation as usual being the high felt even a bit more crisp when Kikoru was fighting one of the subproducts. The show at least hasn’t failed in this one aspect thus far. Though I feel someone like Hoshina fighting monster number 10 was too much to ask, I mean I know they want to keep him under that bracket of strong guys, but he’s still secondary. Anyway, knowing what will happen, this is simply not something to get bothered about. Now again as usual, cliffhanger to follow another cliffhanger. They nailed monster number 10's design though. |

| Utter destruction and a lot of damage to the base in this episode. A lot of strong Kaijus are here but our division was able to hold them back for a while. Everyone is playing their part. Kikoru is so amazing and cute at the same time. Her new weapon is so badass. I love her so much. But, the problems are gonna go through the roof, especially for the Vice Captain who's fighting the Daikaiju himself. He did everything from his side to take the Kaiju down but it looks like he keeps growing stronger. Fortitude 9.0 Can't wait for the next episode. I hope there are no casualties. |

| Hoshina's investing Kaiju No. 8 intentively after failing to kill him. Kafka's monster sweeper knowledge comes in handy again when he sees the Wyvern-types not acting like individuals. The intelligence that has united them is another humanoid, Kaiju No. 10. Knowing Kaiju weak spots, cores and so on, Kafka is a valuable member of the force. AXE TIME!!!! Shinomiya's AX-0112 makes its appearance in motion! And cooperation with Reno to attack an airborne one, too. Eyes wide open Hoshina is serious against Kaiju No. 10, look at that knife art. Kafka was so swift saving Minase with that partial transformation, only to be careless and have the ace Kikoru save him. Reno reminds him to put faith in his fellow officers. Hell yeah, paratroopers. Fortitude 9.0; this Kaiju is no longer Hoshina's specialty. |

| Considering the animation talent and key animator list I saw online for this previously that indicated a lot of hype to watch out for, expected a lot more tbh from this. It looked mostly good but wasnt consistently exciting and ended up somewhat underwhelming than anything tbh. One of the better episodes from this series but I hoped for a lot more than this since it didn't feel that exciting except maybe some bits with Hoshina at the end and fortitude 9.0 very briefly. |
| This was probably the best episode yet, as we see everyone fending off an aerial Kaiju raid. Good thing Kafka has knowledge about different types of Kaiju so he could tell everyone to aim for the backs of the wyvern types. Kikoru stole the show with that flashy new weapon of her's, like her or not she's been coming in clutch when it counts. Hoshina vs. the leader of this attack was fire, and the animators continue to impress. Next episode is about to be even better, I bet. And sure, as predictable as it might be, I'm sure Kafka in his Kaiju form will help Hoshina defeat this Kaiju which will make Hoshina have second thoughts about pursuing him. That seems to be the direction this is going in. |

| Don't like Kikoru's character much but the weapon is dope I won't lie. Episode itself was alright but somewhat generic, at least the officers have been growing somewhat compared to a few episodes ago and Kafka's trying to be an asset with his experience of kaiju in his own way. Action was alright, haven't been too excited with Production I.G and the staff's work with this show with the episodes that have aired and while this looks okay, didn't blow me away much and the writing was fairly bog standard as well. Music during the scene with Kikoru using her new weapon could've been better as well. Hey, at least the unfunniness this series can really have was toned down a lot during a situation as critical as this and the last few minutes were not great but decent. Transformation at the end there serves as an effective enough cliffhanger for bigger things next week. |
| A thing that bothers me about this series is, they have technology to power scale the kaiju, but can't actively detect them. |

| Death from above as kaiju fall from the sky, it kinda reminds me of the Reaper invasion from Mass Effect 3. Vice Captain Hoshino held his own against Kaiju #10, but now it has transformed into a giant monster. Shinomiya continues to be best girl with her new weapon making her a real death dealer against kaiju. |

| Air raid took them by surprise but they were handling things fine. Hoshina's a beast but damn the kaiju evolved. Can Hoshina still handle it? Kikoru was great btw, looked great fighting with the giant axe. |

| The fights was alright. Not particularly exciting, but I still appreciate the nice animation by production I.G, as it is probably the only decent thing about this series so far. Still waiting for them to introduce an actual interesting antagonist or villian type character. |

| Bruh. Doesn't the Defense Force have some sort of Kaiju detection technology? How come it took them so long to notice the meteors and the kaiju? Or did the surprise attack just happen too fast for them to react quickly? So, it's the attacker is a different Kaiju after all. And not only does it seem much stronger than no. 9 but also it seems more intelligent. Even if it doesn't look human, it can speak normally and generally just seems like a proper sentient being compared to the robotic Kaiju no. 9. This just raises so many questions tho. One of the previous episodes implied that Kaijus existed in this world for pretty much as long as human history. So, why is it only now that they're discovering human kaijus? Did they suddenly evolve or something? Wonder what's the cause of this. But the bigger mystery is, why doesn't the Defense Force have some kaiju experts working with the officers giving them vital intel? Why is Kafka the only one giving them advice? I feel like there should be a team of people whose job is specifically to find out the weaknesses of Kaijus and aid the officers in live combat. Heck, I'd say the officers themselves need to pass some sort of basic test about Kaijus. It could be some sort of a written test like their first exam. These are probably my only pet peeves of the show so far. Other than that, I like the fights between the humans and the Kaijus. Kikoru's got a new weapon. That's cool. I guess normal officers only use guns and don't get melee weapons unless they get promoted. The fight scene between Hoshina and the new Kaiju was great. But now with the Kaiju becoming giant, how would they deal with it? I guess they need to get Mina ASAP. But before that, Kaiju No. 8 can make its debut and save Hoshina. That's gonna be fun. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| One thing is for sure, for manga readers, seeing animated adaptations of scenes in manga is the most thrilling thing. So, this is what happens now in this episode. although not what I was waiting for, but this is also what I can say is cool, this is enough to fulfill my expectations. Seeing the animated scene of the vice captain fighting with Kaiju no. 10, then next week this is something we should wait for too (especially for me anyway). One more thing I can't wait for, is the action of Kafka changing and Kaiju No. 8.  |

| that was such an evil place to finish the episode </3 I was gonna start the manga when the show ended but at this point Im genuinely considering starting it now, I can't wait to see what happens next (╥﹏╥) I hope nothing bad happens to hoshina in the next episode.. he and kikoru are definitely my favourites so far, but also it feels way too early for him to be killed off so hopefully he'll be fine ^^ speaking of kikoru her new weapon is so cool i love it somuch |

| Another amazing episode. Kaiju no 10 showed up and didn’t disappoint at all. That’s how you introduce a villain and make him look bad ass. Even with Hoshina’s plot armour I was anxious for the vice captain. They did a great job of conveying Kaiju 10s raw strength and speed. As we know, the vice captain excels at fighting small/medium sized Kaiju so this is kinda his area of expertise and it should come as no surprise he was able to turn the tables in the second half. We only got a taste of his 92 percent during the fight with Kaiju 8, so seeing it on full display was awesome. And this isn’t even his final form?? This guy’s insane. Made Kaiju 10 look like a walk in the park till he did that cheese ass giant Kaiju transformation… guessing the captain will be back next week to help out with that? Kikoru COOKED too. Her most badass entrance and scenes yet. I love her sm 😩 Her new weapon perfectly suits her fighting style and came in clutch against the wyverns. Animation for both she and Hoshina’s fights was amazing. Banger episode and can’t wait to see how they handle Kaiju 10s transformation and find out what exactly he’s after. |

| best episode so far omg that opening scene with meteor shit im reminded of the anime Kimi no Nawa, really liked the animation and ost in this episode. Shinomiya gets a big upgrade which has been teased that he will have a badass big axe. Hoshina is my favorite character on this show ngl i hope Kafka will transform in this arc and save Hoshina at some point. |

| In short: Great episode! Everything was done quite brilliantly. Side Note: I just don't get the individuals that leave replies that indicate that they are waiting for this anime to fail. There are some specific profiles that I see repeatedly dedicating their time to commenting negatively on many animes this season. Honestly, if one can't see the positive in an anime, so why exactly are they watching it? To bother the fans with some negative comments? What's their purpose here really? I just don't know what to say to those who do nothing but ooze negative energy everywhere. |
