| I don't think it will be a good idea to tell Noir about what happened to Ciel. However, I think she will know the truth, eventually. RIP Ichijo Miyuki, Pascal's seiyuu, who passed away on October 19, 2023. This also showed that this episode was recorded quite a while ago. |

| Man what a lore heavy episode. I still can’t get over ciel being gone though and I know Noir will have a hard time dealing with it too. I’m really hoping for an asspull to bring her back The macht tokio and weis backstory was interesting, kinda gave off gundam vibes. I wish Macht wasn’t such a bitch though and was able to stand up to Weis. He clearly didn’t fully agree with his methods but couldn’t fully commit to find another way like Tokio either. |

| The backstory of Noir and Mystere, as advocated by Pascale in her recording into the past of Amasia when it was still a thriving land until their absence. Other than the involvement of the Enders with the Silver Storm, and eventually, the outer space of Histoire, which the attempt to hack into the system fails and produces Noir, with all details pre-dating the Tears of the New Moon. As usual, Pascale treats Mystere the same, but with two beings in one body, it's putting stress on the main Magus body. Not to mention the fall of Amasia and the invaders trying to find the Black Box of Mystere, Noir is put to rest by Pascale, whom Noir waited for her new master to awaken her (which would eventually be Kanata). With her signing off, the trio have their Master's guidance to follow up thereafter. As to Ideal, the 3 masters Weisheit, Licht and Macht all having their skills to back to their special Magus, though creating a paradise in Histoire, that was originally their goal. In the meantime, Licht not following Macht and Weisheit's plans, he's already set on the free life instead of being their helper to create their desired world. Along with the Maguses in tandem, they're kept in check with commands from their masters, and Macht is forced to make a choice: Licht or Weisheit, which the reformation of Amasia began with Weisheit's rule. It's heavy lore, but that's how the story is like now, with narratives set out the way they are. |

| We got the backstory for Pascale, mostly stuff we already knew or were hinted. Noir being from Histoire was also the obvious answer. I wonder how they are gonna explain to Noir about Ciel, it'll hit hard for sure. The moment she asked that question while inspecting her body though. As for Macht, Licht, or that weis something guy backstory, Weis is just one of those cliche villains with ideals and will make others do the dirty work while he stays at a safe place. Macht turned out to be a really shallow character without minimum brain capacity, an NPC what you'd call him. Dun really care about them and idk why I bothered wasting a few minutes writing anything about them at all. Hopefully we won't get more screentime for these guys and just see their ass kicked at the end. |

| The first backstory was emotionally compelling, gotta say. Mystere has a harsh way of speaking, but you can tell Pascale's explorative and compassionate nature rubbed off on her in some ways. Mystere did mention that she had a fondness for the idea of harmony between humans and Magus. Noir being "data from Histoire" explains why Ideal are after her too. Also got some insight into the previously vague relationship between Tokio, Black Mask and Weisheit. Doesn't really do Black Mask (Macht) any favours though, as he didn't seem to sense any megalomaniac ulterior motives in Weisheit, despite the signs. In fact, there are some implications that Macht is a bit obsessed with power himself, even if he insists it's rooted in good will. |
