This is some spicy shit. This Black Bird of Happiness aint very happy. A lot of stuff to unpack here. First, I thought when Asuma got shocked, it was that death penalty which I thought was harsh. Turns out, nah, something aint right with that Bird. The MC figures out his bro is AAAAA but cant risk shattering this world that he is a part of by letting it slip to Asuma who he is. I think this friend his brother mentions is the MC. Something happened to the sister and caused the MC to escape to Planet. Seeing that, the brother prolly tried to reach out to him in the game to bring back probably. Maybe, or im dead wrong.
Also, the father. A) He is the damn creator?! Wow. B) Yea fuck him. Treating his daughter like that aint it man. He's spent much of his time tracking down this Black bird in his game. Im curious, what if he was the cause of the girls death. Seeing the stuff happen to the young brother, what if something happened to the sis. Pretty far fetched but what if this girls personality or something like that got trapped or copied into the game and she is the Black Bird? Stupid idea, i know but time to see.

Shitty dad in a shitty family in a shitty world.

Not surprising Ichi turned out the way he did, that seems like a broken home.

In general it does have some aspects of SAO, but Good Night World highlights the realistic parts more, which is quite refreshing.

Damn. Poor imouto wasn't liked much by her dad.

Ichi seems to care more about his family than I thought he did, and a part of it seems to be lingering regret over the fate of their younger sister, who I guess died at some point.

I can understand why Taichiro hates his father now. Why did his father push Aya after that little mistake? Not justifiable in any way.
