I'm sorry if I'm just dumb af and I just didn't fully understand her reasoning. It's either that, or she just has one of the dumbest reasons for breaking up that I've ever heard. Fdym you she can't love her because she isn't talking about herself? What else does she need to know? Suyi clearly loves the mc and is willing to do literally anything to keep their relationship going despite not being able to go to college or pursue her dream to become the next Messi. As a matter of fact, it's the mc who's showing signs of being unfaithful. Suyi didn't have an affair with other women, didn't slack off and became toxic, and she never even thought of breaking up eventually, literally the most dedicated partner she ever had. Yes, she gets upset about what people think of her, WHO TF DOESN'T? From all the mc's yapping, the only things I agree with are the fact that she said the break-up had nothing to do with Suyi, and she deserves a better woman. Yes, she definitely deserves a better woman, but why won't YOU at least try to get your shit straight and learn to accept other people's flaws and become that 'better woman'.
This is purely based on my interpretation of the story, I didn't understand much of it because I think it's not very well delivered. Idk if it's because of the limited dialogues compared to a common anime (if you can call it that cuz it's Korean), issues with subtitles, the lack of context, or just my dumbahh comprehension skills. Anyway, I find the story confusing, definitely not the best yuri/shoujo ai 'anime' I've ever seen, but I still feel the emotions so ig that's a good thing. Some say that it's the most realistic romantic story, and I agree with that to some extent. A lot of people do break up over the dumbest shit. |
