My Happy Marriage (light novel)
| The fact that the show is called my happy marriage but doesn't even have the marriage occured infuriates me . Shouldn't it be called My New Beginning instead? (Just my opinion) |

Well I think Miyo making a happy marriage with Kudo her goal that is the start of her journey to self acceptance and healing so I think the title is fine.

| @Raajdeep no, it implies that her marriage continues. especially if they make it 'my happy marriage 2nd season' but 'my new beginning 2' implies she's having another beginning again, even if you add '2nd season' at the end, it's like holy shit how long is her beginning gonna be lol. |

| I know this is an old thread, but OP has a very limited concept of 'happiness.' It doesn't pertain to having good and positive things happen to you. It's having a pleasant life as a whole with its share of ups and downs, sadness and joy. If Aristotle is to be followed, having a happy marriage means having a lifelong relationship that's fulfilling as a whole despite having some negative episodes. The Japanese language seems to make this distinction too in that it uses shiawase, a more enduring form of happiness, compared to useshii, which is something momentary and fleeting. The title uses shiawase: Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon. |
