Edit2. even though its not their fault, its one of the worst scheduled anime of all time. Its too bad too I loved it so far

There an up and coming studio, there doing unbelievably impressive considering, I’m glad to wait as long as it takes to keep the same consistency in animation and direction as the episodes so far, years from now the it’s going to be remembered for quality not delays.

Haven’t seen enough anime + we have 4 other shows this season on delay for the same reason. It’s some tv slot thing. + it also gives them time to keep the quality consistent, last delay we got a massive banger episode with crazy animation

This is why anime fans should consider watching anime once the anime is already over (this is assuming that an anime is max 26 episodes).

Because then these delays will affect your overall score of the anime, when it shouldnt.

One to two week delays are nothing… Its like nobody remembers things like the 3 month wait for Azur Lanes last episodes. Happens all the time~ tho I understand the excitement for the next episodes to air.

Ayakashi Triangle started in January and there are only like 7/12 episodes out. Isekai Ojisan and NieR Automata also had worse delays.

This is true. Usually there’s one week skipped sometime in the middle or it starts a week later than everything else or, the least likely(but not rare per se) scenario, they end a week earlier than everything else if they decide to only do 12 episodes. But up until recently, namely with isekai ojisan, there have been hella anime delays. The only thing I can think of would be the same reason we’ve had sooo many new anime, and alot of them good ones at that. And that would be that during covid a lot of production stopped, so there was a limited amount of anime being made and released. So it meant a lot of shows that were planned got put on hiatus and I believe it also meant they were able to make a lot of new contracts with mangaka to make new anime once they everything was back to normal. So now that covid is finally over wish this season and the last season were loaded. Like it was a good 2-3x the normal amount of shows per season, AND a solid chunk of them were all good ones too

Was gonna say we had one not to long ago. Both great shows that were plagued by delays, hopefully zom 100 has a better fate for the later half of the season especially because it’s been my fav show of the season so far

Yea it does hurt that this has had a couple of delays. However, this isn’t the only weekend anime to get a delay this season, and the unintentional breaks are likely giving the team a better schedule.

The delays haven't been that bad yet. Nier and Isekai Ojisan had it worse so far. Plus I think the last episode delay was due to sports or something, so it's not really their fault.

I would rather one episode of well put together, not rushed anime than week by week stress on the animators until they quit.
I kinda feel like they chose zom 100 because of the message of episode 1, that being bogged down on a daily grind just isnt fun for anyone
