| It's delightful that we're able to reunite with Ciel, Black Mask, and Schnee this week. And, of course, Range has also made a return, immediately attempting to reclaim Ciel. When Noir expressed her intention to handle the situation, I was concerned she might risk herself to enable Kanata's entry. Thankfully, she only utilized the camera. Observing Kanata's notable improvement as a pilot is truly heartening. Nevertheless, Black Mask still had to intervene to rescue him due to Range's underhanded tactics. At last, we had the opportunity to witness Noir's Magus Skill, revealing her affinity for lightning. It's somewhat amusing considering her past struggle to generate even a small spark for camera recharging. Initially, it seemed that this might conclude with Ciel seeking a contract with Kanata, given her standing as the third main character of the show. Perhaps now, she will opt to remain part of Kanata's group without the need for a formal contract. |

| Literal casino royale lol. One of the weaker episodes imo, but still really fun. Tokio getting stripped of all his clothes cause of the L’s he was taking at the dice tables was hilarious. Sadly, a lot of people gamble everything they got like that IRL too. Good for him Kanata was able to win the little battle royale and get all the entrance fees as well as securing Ciel’s freedom Speaking of Ciel, underrated seasonal waifu. Range and his minion won’t be bothering her anymore and she can finally sing and go wherever she wants. Being a drifter isn’t about abusing and controlling your magus for personal gain, it’s about respecting them as equals in a partnership and Kanata gets that. Noir’s power up during the fight is interesting though. I hope we get more explained about that soon. |

| so noir's magus skill is lightning. it must've been the desperation to win the match that brought about the use of it. i wonder if she can use it on command now or if it was like a one and done thing for now. |

| Noir only briefly was informed (or possibly re-informed, considering memory loss?) on using the lightning stuff a couple eps ago and now its become her magus skill? I wonder if this means she will be able to do that with more than just that type if she get to know more of them? Good ep. |
| Kinda wish Ciel to become Kanata's 2nd magus but is that even possible? Anyhow I hope she sticks with the team, I like her :) |

| A bit weird it hasn’t been explain why and how they get those elemental powers and it so happened that she conveniently got them. Felt like they were hinting she will follow Kanata but I guess not she probably will later but not now. |

| The Nest of greed, Baccarat Nest, is a casino and gambling place all on its own. Tokio squandered it all on the races, and Mouton is just a Magus capable of all things. Noir finding the singer Ciel, the one who repaired the camera for her, and this is just a camera of memories, since all of the previous data has been wiped away. A Magus without a master, Ciel is really on a spot of her own. But the Nest that's run by Range's Nebbiolo Family, that could spell trouble. Both Kanata and Noir meets Black Mask and Schnee again trying their hands on betting, though the latter had an objective to find this "key". As expected, Range is back to his old habitual ways controlling Ciel, though this is to be determined in a Coffin Battle Royale of the winner takes all. It's a stupid bet no less, but Kanata is not about to risk his life away. Nothing is ever simple when it comes to Range, and Black Mask and Schnee comes in for the aid for Kanata and Noir to deal with Range. And the one instance of Noir's evolution of sorts to unleash a lightning attack, that's her Magus Skill. Though Black Mask and Schnee will no doubt see them again, having Ciel be a free Magus is better than nothing. Seems like they're still trying to wrap something out of who Noir is really am... |

| This time the episode took us to a gambling city and the events were quite unexpected, just like in ep 3. Tokio, Kanata, and their group found themselves in another risky situation, this time in a gambling establishment. It's interesting how they keep finding themselves in these intense places. I wonder if there will be a third time in the future. As usual, Tokio provided some comedic moments, adding a touch of humor to the episode. But I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it fits his carefree and unconventional personality. On the other hand, his comedic role clashes with his image as a reliable older brother figure. In previous episodes, he played crucial roles in saving the day. However, in this episode, when Kanata really needed his help, Tokio couldn't do much. It's like he's a bit unreliable in critical moments. It's kinda confusing, tbh. Kanata's storyline followed a similar pattern to ep 3. After splitting up, he crossed paths with Kurokamen, and things escalated from there. The spotlight was on Kanata's character brilliance this time. From Ciel's perspective, Kanata's determination to save her was evident, and it would surely touch her heart. Even though Kanata struggled, his partner Noir and the powerful Kurokamen, stepped up to support him. It was obvious to see his personality charm as a master and as a person. And when Kanata finally gained ownership of Ciel, he immediately set her free, showing his noble character. I think Ciel would be really impressed by that. While the episode was exciting and entertaining, I did notice some flaws. The comedic moments overshadowed the MC's development, and there were some questionable choices, like the sudden powerful move from Noir. It felt a bit out of place and could have been better executed. Overall, I'd give this episode a 3 out of 5. It had its moments, but there were definitely some areas that could be improved. |

| Noir can call down lightning if the situation is threatening enough to Kanata, but she does it unconsciously. That's pretty useful. |
