The story is so damn boring, this is the only anime where I need to take a break to watch other animes, YouTube, read LN and manga a couple of times for EACH episodes. If you have already watched eps 2, then you wouldn't have asked this question. I don't really remember at this point, but it was a "joke" with the plane going up in the background and they repeated it like 3 times in a row. That was so damn annoying I almost kill myself. The MC really reminds me of Kazuya from Kanojo Okarishimasu, and at this point even though I hate NTR, I'll be gladly NTR-ed Chizuru in front of Kazuya because he's so damn annoying. Honestly speaking, this is the type of story where it's better to be made into a 1-time movie. Simply because the "she forgets her glasses" gimmick is really annoying now. BUT at the same time, once she doesn't forget her glasses anymore, it's gonna be wrong to call it "The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses". It's literally a double-edge sword.

Yes, they both are blushing and nervous around the opposite sex. But SERIOUSLY compare their characters beyond that. Ones a college student who does horrific things like blackmails his crush to saying she's his real girlfriend, and ones a literal middle school student whos like...13 or something, experiencing talking to the other sex for the first time when puberty is hitting you like a truck, but still manages to help her out and socialize like a normal human being.

First of all, I don't really remember about Kanojo Okarishimasu at this point and I only read the manga without watching the anime, so maybe there are some differences but I don't remember Kazuya blackmailing Chizuru at all. If anything the only thing I remember is him being too pussy to even make any move, like Komura.

Second, there is NO way in hell Mei is his first other sex person who he talked too. If you say that Mei is his first crush then yes I'd agree. But for a 13 year old, he would have progressed through kindergarten and stuff so there is just no way he never talks to the opposite sex. This is not a fantasy anime thus it's beyond illogical.

Third, when I was 13 years old, I didn't act like him, none of my friends act like him, none of my friends' friends act like him so I don't know about this "normal human being" part. It's true that SOME people react like him, but this is definitely not normal/common, AT LEAST not as annoying as him. Ichikawa from BokuYaba is way more believable how a 13 year old act in front of his crush. One thing that I'd agree though is that Kazuya is much much worse than Komura since he's much older yet still acts like that.
