THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Stuff went down in this episode. Mi Hee's lies were exposed... again. Jinwoo may be in some trouble, too. Did Joonsang know the truth before he left for New York? If so... why would he still leave instead of trying to fix things with Yujin?

DRAMA!!
Yeah, that's what I don't understand. Joonsang clearly knew the truth before he even met up with Yujin for the final goodbye, so I really just don't get it...besides being dramatic for the sake of it. Either way, he had to go to NY for the surgery, but then to go there and spend 10 days on some stupid blueprints is extra nonsense.

Mi Hee still needs to die.

I guess he's not sure if he will survive the operation and doesn't want to hurt Yujin even more.
And i think the reason he spend ten days on that blueprint is that Joonsang thinks that even if he will survive the operation he will be blind afterwards witch would mean he won't be a able to finish that house

+1 agree with everything.

Mi Hee is officially the character I hate the most in this series.
and what excuses she gave Joonsang after he told her he know about her lies!
she's such a bitch who care just about herself and played with everyone's feelings. poor Jinwoo.

and so we're finally back to the ep.1 intro. Feels like it really took us 10 years, lol

what I really can't understand... how a mother can abandon her child.. I mean... I could understand (even though it's still over 9001% ridiculous) if it was an impulse-based decision when the kid was born... but now... 30 years later... after all these events... after seeing with her own eyes how deeply both love each other.... to break their lifes... it's so.. really, I just can't understand or accept SUCH selfishness. No wonder Joonsang abandonned her himself.

btw, was I the only one, who had a feeling that an old guy at the piano in Paris was actually Yujin's father? I know it's a bit TOO much of a twist.. but takikng in account everything's happened so far, I'm not surprised if it's true in the end xDDD

I agree. It's the same reason why he told his mother to never talk to him again. He was simply trying to cut all ties with people he knew just in case he didn't survive.

Do Korean people have some gene that makes then weak-kneed and faint all the time or something?
On a serious note, I did not like how Joonsang knew the truth and did not tell Yujin, but I guess it makes sense. I was kind of hoping that Sanghyuk would be the one standing over the dad and then try to rush and tell Yujin, but whoops, not this time! I love how the other mitten resurfaced too.

Mi Hee really did live her life thinking that Joonsang was Yujin's dad's son though, and I am amazed.
