| How interesting that this show continously dive into themes related to themes of life and death. That book tells a lot of info about that... Meanwhile, we got some more tragic narratives at the academy. If anything though, this anime knows how to deliver a mood even for an episode with Chise getting a slight haircut. |

| As it is a custom at this point, our dear Chise got herself into a new kind of trouble, now that she has awakened some new evil power shes unfamiliar with. While not much of an explanation, only just a brief bit of Lucy's past, good to see her .. not ded ... now that the Waver Velvet, her older brother is here ... Also, that teacher assembly looked more like the all worlds villains gathering xD. |

| So Chise has awakened a new evil force within her. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this plays out. As Joseph said, once you realise you can kill people with that power, it changes you. Lucy backstory seems really tragic. No wonder she has problems opening up and connecting with people. Dark forces are starting to make their move in the background at school as well. Next week should be fun. |

| Looks like the plot is thickening around the college. While Lucy is recovering from the incident at camp, an important book from the college, "The Testament of Carnamagos" has been stolen, which had the teachers and staff quite worried. The main thing that intrigued me was the Webster Tragedy, which involved a mass killing of a family that produced and duplicated magic books using silk from spiders, with the only survivor of the family being Lucy. I wonder if the book being stolen had anything to do with the tragedy, since there was piece of the silk inside the remains of the book. It's also very possible that the person who stole the book was the one who attacked Lucy last episode, and perhaps Simeon this episode. Finally, it seems things are picking up. I look forward to more of these mysteries being unravelled. |
| Another solid episode. They could animate this with stick figures and blobs of colour and I'd still love it the story is that great. (okay thats a little extreme but you get the point) |

| Things are becoming a bit more unsettled at the college, with an important book being stolen, which has all of the teachers concerned. The episode also went into a bit of backstory involving Lucy and the massacre that befell her family, apart from herself and her elder brother, who was driven out of the family. While he has come out of his way to be there for her, she doesn't want him there at all and the hostility she has for him is rather high. However, the same attack that was used on her seems to have been used on a teacher, Simone, who was kind enough to tell Elias about the Webster family's tragic past. Not only that, but two hooded creatures made quick work of the limo driver outside the college, so it feels like they'll be a tricky obstacle for the students and teachers at the college to deal with. All in all, this was a rather insightful episode, while setting up the next one to be a very interesting and tense experience. |

| Guess the peaceful times are over. Though I'll thank that glasses teacher for briefing us about the Webster tragedy, but you know he shouldn't have done that, I mean not long after he disappeared(?), or the worst case, is already gone. This episode kinda explains why Lucy keeps her interactions low. But still there are people after her life.. keep that weird mask army away. |

| Pretty good episode, Joseph's convo was interesting. So it definitely was the effects of the curse dragon that saved Chise, but half because of its madness and half because Chise willed it to? Yeh sounds like the Testament of Carnamagos is one shady and, quite literal, killer book that goes as far as killing human who read its contents. I find it funny how Elias truthy owns up to being in contact with the recently stolen book of death not knowing how suspicious that he, a non human that could read it and joining very recently, would make him. But he also admits that the contents were not to his interest subsequently clearing his name of suspicion. If it wasn't for his brutal honesty i'm sure he would of been a prime suspect. I also found it funny how Elias morphs back to his normal appearance after he gets swarmed by others after the meeting. I'm guessing he wasn't expecting so many people and lost concentration to keep him form. The Webster's incident is finally revealed and with it Lucy's past. Seems someone was after their spiders, but to kill the entire bloodline, take all the spiders and leave one sole survivor raises so many questions. It's understandable that Lucy is probably dying inside from survivors guilt as well from it, but honestly a pat on the back to her for how well she's been holding up about it so far. Stuff is finally moving into motion and who ever is behind the scenes is making their big move on the college. |

| After the camping fiasco, Lucy is still out, with Chise looking after her and Zoe having his usual routine checkups. Elias being overly worried for Chise, though this is a chance to test of her dragon's arm powers and the conversation with Cartaphilus/Joseph to tell of what she was dealt with. Seth coming to see his sister Lucy, and her grieve in her heart and mind shows the aberrations of her nightmare dream coming to life. Philomela still feels awkward around Chise, but hopefully she'll come around. The forbidden book in the Storage being the Testament of Carnamagos, and indeed the contents itself were intriguing, but only valuable to the one who has a use for it to harm the living mortals. The thing is, there is spider silk woven into it, which could signify the Webster family, which for now, is kept isolated from Lucy. Of course, Elias doesn't know the full story of the Webster family spider tragedy, which produced books using spider-spun silk, which the entire family got decimated, leaving Lucy in the lurch. The sound mage Simeon Paladilhe can be a valuable friend, and from the outside walls of the College, trouble starts to brew. |
