--- Keiichi Tanaami x Naohiro Ukawa x YP x Aki Yashiro. This may be one of the most legendary collaborations of all time, holy moly!!! Wow, Tanaami's artwork really shines when he's not the one animating it - this was legitimately great looking! I can't believe this come out in 2021 and I'm only learning about it now?!?! |

| This was good, Keiichi Tanaami's style being very recognizable. I haven't enjoyed his work from the 70s, but works from the last 20 years are good. I don't know if it's because it's easier for me to understand more recent trends in art. This had many familiar images from his later work: the waves, the cherry blossoms, the spider, the skulls. The colour palette is getting ever more pleasant to watch. I don't know whether the images are supposed to be symbols. Often Tanaami seems to refer to other works of art, but it could be just an exploration of style and aesthetics, and I'm happy to watch this even if I can't find deeper symbolism. My impression is that this type of work is meant to be simply experienced rather than understood. |

| Finally a Keiichi Tanaami short that does not make me want to rip off my eyes. Nice homage, nice use of rotoscoping and nice mixing of lyrics with the images. |
