| This episode just goes to show that the further the competition, the tougher it gets. Round 3 is no pushover with the stakes and competitors skill levels. Honestly, I think this one would be Michi's toughest challenge and for her squad. Seems the show made it clear that it's never been an easy path to victory. I like the overall attitde and excitement of this though. |

| Whats with those battle shounen nicknames, lol. The new team surely is a funny bunch, of all kinds of colorful personas, even their at first glance very strict teacher is actually ... a crazy weirdo obsessed with Shino-sensei ? Oh, And also her former school mate it would seem. This week it was more about introducing a lot of new characters, rather than the actual matches. Last two remaining episodes should be intense. |

| Round 3 facing Tachikawa Girls, Michi and the girls have a tough road ahead of them, simply because everyone is THAT good, and to find their weakness would take superhuman strength to find out. At its core, the Golden Era girls of Tachikawa Academy have their ordinary lives too, but right now, judo is the focus of their progress. And even their coach Rinka Inui has the admiration on Natsume-sensei, being classmates once and now rivals. But still, they are not a team to be taken lightly, with the Inter-High being their target. And Aoba West would shine as their golden era too, with both schools being very similar in their pursuit. Teams like Tachikawa's with stacked tournaments, it's normal to have them on the back burner to reserve their strength. That said, the unknown Aoba West is easily the team creating the upset (as is with Nishikiyama High the last episode), and it would be a match of endless proportions on how they would strategize going forward. First up, it's Hane Odagiri vs. Michi...and if anything, pulling an upset is the way to go for Aoba West. Looking forward to the finale match of two strongholds. |

| Was a great between matches episode. Anna is an awesome inspirational speaker. Shino-sensei breaking hearts with her coolness. These elimination matches are horrible, if you think about it, like if Tachikawa lose while benching their aces, kinda means didn't gave their best and lost. |

| It would've been cool if micchi won the first match quickly with that move, it should teach a lesson to that arrogant girl but by the preview doesn't seem that way. Still I think micchi will win since she should face the french girl because she looks like a potential rival. |
| I figured this episode would mostly be buildup to the upcoming match, it was a good one too. I’m glad we get time to get to know the opponents of each match, it definitely helps me get more invested and this new team full of great competitors is really fun, they even got a French exchange student and I’m betting she’s gonna rock someone’s socks from our main cast lol. And this time around the two coaches have a past, but not a bad one thankfully lol, Inui from the opposing team wanted to be all friendly with her past senpai but due to the circumstances they have to back off from each other for now, but it was nice how they both talked up their girls. I especially loved the part where Nagumo helped ease the tension by explaining that these fierce opponents are just high schoolers and probably enjoy going out to eat parfaits and play that mobile dating sim game just like them, that’s all very true and is a big help mentally, also I swear the ost in that part sounded like “Karma Chameleon” lol. And now it’s time for the match, Michi has a new nickname “Ippon Michi” and she immediately pulled off her secret move that will only work once, i had a feeling there would end up being a quick round in this match but is it truly a quick round? The cliffhanger makes it seem like Michi’s opponent can still get out of the move, we’ll have to wait and see as always. And my prediction for this match is that our girls lose the match but give the other team a run for their money, Inui said it herself that our girls shouldn’t have made it this far and can cause an upset, but I don’t think the upset will happen, especially with just two episodes left. |
| I'm so glad this show takes it's time to properly build up the characters for the matches. And it doesn't neglect previous opponents either, as Hakata South became the assistant coaches for Aoba West now! Anyway, I'm super excited for the next episode! I wonder if Michi will be able to take down the arrogant girl with one attack. That would surely create some stress for the Tokyo Team! But Emma and the others look super strong as well. I guess this match will show what Towa is truly capable off! |

| Until they showed the HS flashback, I still thought Shino-sensei was a guy. Ippon Michi actually yelled out right collar. lol |
