| Damn, Dariel had his hands full this episode dealing with that fire monster. Still, it goes to show that he is the real deal and has a lot of courage when the right time demanded it. Episode feels kinda rushed though in terms of storytelling. Dariel himself still seems to have a lot of potential even at this point in the show. |

| Well the anime is good and the story is fun i have to say that Bashubaza is such a generic bad guy i find him rather boring and predictable. Hence the second part of this episode wasn't really my thing. That being said the the first part was nice seeing the guys fight that dragon and Dariel mistaking that giant for someone hostile was funny. He always tries to stay out of trouble but when he has to he confronts it, it's refreshing to watch. |
| Both Dariel and Alantsil on the first offensive against Bashbarza controlling the Magical Flame Beast dragon Salamandra causing a major mayhem, this is only the first wave. Glad that the despite the mythril mine toppling, the Knockers are safe. But it's clear that the stupid and foolish son of Granbarza, more than hatred against Dariel, will not listen to advice and go off on his own rampage. Dariel, with his own scuffle saving the Knockers, gets a reward from the Magical Earth Beast Gigantomachia for the mythril. Lux Village becoming a battlefield, it's to be expected since Dariel is the heart of Bashbarza's problem. And with encouragement, Dariel and the Hero Party prepares off for the fateful encounter with Bashbarza, and it's immediately apparent that negotations will not work, and the only way is to take him and Salamandra down, despite his claims that he's working for the greater good. The greater mage that has improved his magic, and Dariel is just too innocent to see that his effort, no matter how kind, will always be looked down upon by the inferior General. Dariel has never shied away from violence for a resolution but forget it in the face of Bashbarza. Redemption's not gonna come easy. |

| Bashbarza is honestly such a whiney insecure little brat. The only way this season ever could’ve ended was a confrontation between he and Dariel. Brother against brother. One living in the past and one looking to the future. Can’t wait to see him get his ass beat even in that demon hybrid form next week. |

| Yeah a confrontation between the brothers was inevitable but I think that, especially with the power-up Dariel's weapon received, Dariel will win but I'm not sure if everyone will be fine. In other words, someone may end up being sacrificed (I don't know for sure but I am a bit skeptical that it will be an easy victory without anyone getting hurt/dying). Only one episode left and this series was a pleasant surprise for me. Dariel is not a pushover and got married and had a kid (they did not beat around the bush on that). Looking forward to the final episode and if will leave room for a second season and/or OVA(s). |
| An episode filled mostly with action, that's unusual for sure, but it felt inevitable at this point in the story. I liked these little demon guys appearance, they're so adorable. |

| I kinda blame Granverza for what Bashubaza beceome. You can't keep comparing your own son to Dariel. That's a bad parenting. I know that's not everything that cause the issues, yeah Bashubaza is stupid as well. |

| Still cannot believe how much I am enjoying this relative to my expectations. Stakes are relatively tame but the characters take it seriously, and the balance between the comedy and drama is pleasant enough. A little more exciting than what might be expected for a guy just chilling, but the overall vibe of the show remains pretty chill. And not for nothing, when I first read the synopsis for the show, I misread the main character's name as "Darry" instead of "Derius", which entertains me to no end. The idea of a shonen protagonist in a fantasy setting named "Darryl" just makes me chuckle every time I think about it. |

| Well I guess no one was surprised that we would get the Dariel vs red-haired dude fight at the very end and of course he's gotten way stronger even though he was pretty weak so far. But there always has to be a big, meaningful fight in the end I guess? |
