I was going to start watching Vinland saga due to its hype for season 2. But then I heard a difference in opinion between fans that for Vinland saga dub is better than sub. So I was thinking if I should watch it in dub or sub. I actually prefer to watch anime in sub but if it's dub is better than sub . Then I will watch in it. So please suggest me if the dub is better or sub?

I'd say watch sub cause then you will be already familiar with the voices in season 2.

Sub is rarely ever bad, so only watch the dub if you tend to prefer them. The Sentai dub was very good, so maybe check it out.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

The sub is really good. Though I’ve heard the Netflix dub is also great.

i prefer subs almost all the time but since the story of Vinland Saga is based around England I thought watching the dub would be better and honestly it was worth it. imo watching the dub is better just cuz personally speaking the thought of people from England speaking Japanese felt a lil weird to me

as for S2 the dub isn't out yet so I'm fine with the sub for now although I will watch the dub too once it releases

simply put i like both but having the choice I'd prefer Vinland Saga in dub

I've seen it in both and if you prefer sub then watch that. but if you want to hear the voices instead of reading subs the English voice acting in this dub doesn't detract in anyway

Watch the dub, and switch to the different one halfway through.
That's how I watched it.

Whatever you prefer, I prefer sun but I’m mostly stuck watching it dubbed because I get busy and end up doing other things like cleaning my apartment.

Giving you a blanket advice, by default, go for subbed unless the Japanese dub is too irritating or annoying. Englishd ubbed audio does not sync with the mouth movements and expressions and the background music and sound effects take a huge hit in quality, too.

Japanese voices are also dubbed, there's no difference between English or JP voices when it comes to syncing audio to "mouth movements".

If you can watch subbed, watch subbed. Dub is made for people who cannot read subtitles or don't want to. A dub is never meant to replace the original voices.

No, the mouth movements are often made with japanese dialogues in mind, so the English dub often doesn't sync with it...or they just change the dialogue to make it sync.

It absolutely does not sync in JP any more than dub, because anime characters aren't real, and don't move their lips like a human being.

It obviously doesn't 100% of the time because they aren't fools to work that hard. But in certain scenes where they put extra emphasis on the dialogue or the character say it slow... you can see the difference.

The difference is that you most likely do not even speak Japanese.

What does that have to do with anything?
And besides watching subbed is just one way to expose myself to new languages which I might decide to properly learn later. Good luck with speaking that one language you know for the rest of your life.

It has everything to do with it, naturally.
