Yes I think so. There are only few original animes that has amazing thoughtful ending.

Nah, it was good but I'd give the best original anime series to Death Parade. I enjoyed that show much more. 91 Days is still good though.

Edit: After reading through this thread I ama shamed to admit that I too had forgotten that Samurai Champloo was an original anime. That is the best original anime I have ever seen. I mean Fuu is my avatar for a reason.

It's very very close but 91 Days is 2nd imo and Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is 1st but like verrrrrryyyy close

Death parade, Cowboy Bebop, 91 days are equally the best originals for me.

The correct answer is Nomad: Megalo Box 2. It's also the best looking anime original that doesn't have it's own universe. (Gundam, Code Geass, etc)

There are tons of anime original great shows and 91 days is one of them. But right now the crown belongs to the one show that does everything perfect. 

BTW, Fango needs his own OVA.

This show is fantastic but I wouldn’t go as far as “best anime original” Things like Revolutionary Girl Utena, Princess Tutu, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Psycho-Pass among a ton more exist. I do love this show though and wish it had a lot more recognition. I especially love the poetic and Shakespearean tragedy of the ending.

Generally anime originals are always pretty great, 91 days isn't an acception. I just finished it, it been on my plan to watch, but my god this series was very gripping and the plot constantly evolved with the tables turning and characters getting taken out.

What happened to Fongo I honestly didn't see coming and as for the ending. It was fantastic. And those last words, really were an excellent send off.
Sometimes it takes a real man to be best girl. Gilgamesh is also chad.

Lol no. But it is a solid series. Best anime original is Mobile Suit Gundam (1979).
