Glad you enjoyed GunGrave, I agree with your opinion, and understand why you skip the first ep. I suppose seeing Brandon as Grave right out, probably would be a bit of a spoiler. At least it's better, then skipping the entire 1st half, cuz it was ''boring'' according to the person that skipped it. That aside, Grave’s design really does go hard,I do really like the whole cowboy outfit it’s going for. He probably fit right in a Guilty Gear game or something. Too bad he loses that outfit, but he does look cool in a trench coat. Hmmm, maybe I should draw Grave next time….
Anyway, I’m really glad that you enjoyed it. It's a shame not a lot of people know about it. So I was really happy that you finally started watching GunGrave. I first discovered GunGrave through a youtube review of the ps2 game, and when it mentioned it was done by the same creator of Trigun and had an anime adaptation. Which got me interested in watching it. And also the fact that in the dub Brandon/Grave was voiced by Kirk Thornton, the current voice actor of Shadow the Hedgehog.
Now you see, I’m a pretty big sonic fan. So I was surprised to see there are a few similarities between Shadow and Grave. Both were awakened/resurrected by a scientist, both have similar color schemes, both use guns and ride motorcycles, both are driven by revenge after what happened to them decades prior, and both had blonde hair friends named maria. Add to the fact they have the same voice actor, it's pretty an interesting coincidence, wouldn’t you agree? Altho, i bet they secretly copied notes to each other, lol.
Besides that, GunGrave really was a great anime. It’s something I won't forget and it truly deserves to be in my top 10 favorite anime’s.
As for your question about Votoms, well i can say for sure, that it was good, like really really good. No…..it was actually GREAT!! There’s a lot of stuff I could say about Votoms. But everything from the characters, the music, the mechs, the mystery, and so much more. Prior of watching Votoms, I only was familiar with it thro its ova spinoff Armored Hunter Mellowlink and the SRW games. I decided to watch it for two reasons, one i wanted to watch anime again after a long period of burnouts and stagnation. Two, I was simply looking for some inspiration for an old fanfic idea I was constructing. With these two reasons, I picked Votoms, and man that was a good choice!
Sorry this took so long, I originally wanted to post this after I finished Votoms, but I got pretty lazy and also that my interest in talking to people online is rapidly decreasing. So this conversion might be the last time you’ll hear of me (for now). But before I leave, you wouldn’t mind if I recommend a manga? Let’s just say it’s sort of related to the Fate series, hehehe
Anyway I hope you had a great Christmas, and I'll see you next time!

Well, Well, Well. if isn't my boy Soap! (formerly Samurai Soap). I honestly was planning to talk to you again at some point, But it seems i don't need to do that, now that your here! Anyways my birthday went pretty well, tho i didn't get any gifts unfortunately. But then again i wasn't planning on getting gifts in the first place. I did had Hershey cake tho, it taste pretty decent i say.
I can understand about forgot about those OP you liked and changing with different OPs. I mean my list you was going to be completely different, however a friend i had before he mysterious disappeared, said that he was curious about whatever obscure OP i might have. leading to the list i have now.
As for how much often i draw you may ask? Well lets just say i didn't draw anything throughout the whole summer after that mecha sketch i did. I did draw a lot throughout my 9th to 10th grade in high school. i kinda stop doing that in 11th grade, but i still drew. That mecha sketch (which was supposed to be the Gundam MK II) was my first time drawing a mecha again after so long. I did drew a couple of mecha, most of them were never complete, but they still looked good. I would later switch over of drawing anime characters as they're way my easier to draw.
Unfortunately, i would be very happy, if i didn't learn that half of my stuff (including all the drawings i did from 9th to 11th grade) straight up disappeared. Like no one in my family knows what happened to my stuff, altho i believe that my mother most has thrown them away and i wouldn't be surprised since she a fucking dumbass at making dumb decision. Turns out i'm not the only one, my brother's stuff also disappeared as well! as you could imagine i didn't had a great time in july.
Luckly i have large stack of papers. So i decided to make some new drawings to make up those drawings that i lost. I posted some new drawings at DeviantArt you checkout. Also you did say you draw in your old profile description, i wonder what drawings you make.
BTW i'm in rushed right now as i'm about to go to school soon. Just suggested me something i can drawing for you, it doesn't have to be too compelx!! :D
yeah, you at least should've mentioned your old username in your profile bro :( well that aside, have fun, do what you enjoy and hopefully a really bright future is waiting for you ahead 😀
