| FYI the studio change does not really matter here since majority of the core staff from season 1 are still working on season 2. iirc the only known change in staff is the Director. |
| I thought a similar thing when I first watched the PV's; I do not think it is worse, but I liked the previous style better. It's not something that will make me stop watching the show, but it certainly makes something feel off with it as you said. I bet and hope that feeling will eventually leave the more episodes I watch, though. Also, just in my opinion, the previous animation resembled the manga's art style more than the current one. What are your thoughts on this, y'all? |
| Looks and feels the same, granted i haven't watched S1 since it aired. So if i were to watch it after this i might notice some differences. Didn't this happen to MHA too were they changed the director and something felt off there as well? |

| I don't remember much but I feel like it has less impact scenes, like less "close-up nagatoro face" scenes and is missing something from S1 less emphasis, casual fast dialoge, and some light idk |
| If no one told me there was a studio change, I most likely wouldn't have even noticed. But no it's not worse, just very very slightly different. |

| There was nothing outstanding about animation of S1 and so ep1 of S2, it's not like comedies need it. |

| I did think it was a bit worse. A lot more still frames, lesser movement and interesting camera angles. Made the first episode feel a bit stiff and lacking. Also, I feel like the lighting was better last season. I still immensely enjoyed this episode since I'm mainly here for Nagatoro and Paisen's interactions. |
| I did feel it looked a bit different, but I felt it was the background art that seemed different. It was like they looked fuzzier and less sharp compared to the first season (maybe my connection was having a bad day with streaming?) The characters all looked to be pretty much on-spec to me and they even kept that little quirk where they remove part of the arms of Senpai's glasses so you can see his eye from the side. |
