Welp, the battle between heroes and villains continue. Poor Deku and Bakuga though. Either of them can't really help much anymore due to their physical conditions.

Most importantly is the revelation of Dabi's identity and his relationship to Todoroki and his family. Imo, Dabi/Touya is still one of the most interesting characters in this show, even before he revealed himself.

Another intense episode, overall, but well... here it is. This episode's main highlight was Dabi's identity revelation and how he's related to Shoto's family. Other than that, the fight is still raging hotter than ever. It'd be more interesting to see how things wrap up from here on out.

Dabi rarely talked before but when he talk he can open his own talk show, even if it feels cringey at some point. The most dangerous lie is the lie that mix with the truth, and Dabi take advantage of that.
Never like Best Jeanist but he's the only one who can solve this mess, so I've to rely on him.
New dad Endeavor is still a DILF. I like him whatever his age is.

Nevermind that cringy Toga x Uraraka confrontation and them taking their sweet time talking about love, this episode actually had one of the biggest revelations of this franchise, the Dabi connection to the Todoroki(s).

Dude literally hacked the satellites and aired the exclusive clip of him revealing the darkest secret all over Japan or more like worldwide lol. Talk about exposing someone the dirtiest way, though Endeavour deserves every bit of it. There’s a reason he carries the tag of a failed father, and this episode once and for all established that stand.

Good for Bones, atleast they delivered this time around.

And it's finally here!!! Dabi's true identity!!!! He is Shoto's brother Toya, who the Todoroki family thought had died. Man went live on TV, lol. And now everyone knows!!! Meanwhile the fight still goes on, it should end soon tho. Almost everyone's worn out!!! This was a pretty good episode.

Daaaaaamn, I was not expecting that reveal. It totally went past me the correlation between Toya and Dabi but all the pieces come together. How will they recover from this now I wonder.

This is getting good, real good.

The others coming to Izuku's rescue in time, but outmaneuvering Shigaraki is another task in and of itself to save both Bakugo and Endeavor. As for Uraraka and Toga, well, this is pretty much a lover's spat vying for the same person that both were crushing for.

The REAL meat is in Shigaraki's evolution, aided by Gigantomachia's arrival that has the League of Villains caught up to them, and the worst of all, Dabi's reveal that he's Toya, the eldest son of the Todoroki family. Even to the point of hacking satellites to broadcast his pre-recorded story of the turmoil within the family, a failure set for failure to turn down the path of evil, and this is his dance to reveal all the misforgivings of the Todoroki family and put them to shame.

The boy that was caught within the flames of Endeavor's training, only to be born like father like son, while he awaited the Half-Cold, Half-Hot quirk to be manifested in someone (which would end up being the 4th child Shoto). The awful truth, is that the father's pursuit towards All Might practically forced Toya to go on his own way, and regardless if the public took Dabi's broadcast as propaganda against the heroes, Toya knew that he already had shaken the faith of everyone hearing his message.

Only one exception: the heavily edited recording doesn't tell the whole story, and Best Jeanist comes in for the clutch.
What an episode worth waiting for.

Best episode so far!!

I've read about the entire part in the manga but still I got goosebumbs while watching this episode. Dabi is really really unbelivable.

ngl, he's the best villain/broken hero in the series. Change my mind

My man attacked endevour most painfully i.e. both mentally and emotionally!!
It was so severe that even todoroki started calling endeavor "oyashi".

Goated episode!! Dabi's VA went hard on this one it really elevates the speech about how fcked up the hero system is.

Everything is perfect this episode from visuals to ost, damn.

EDIT: Also forgot to add, Yuki Kaji did a really good job when Shoto was trying to put some sense to Endavor, really felt that voice acting!!

I can only imagine Dabi thinking everything he said being undone when Best Jeanist shows up, since he did tell everyone that Hawks killed him. Now his proclamations may seem to carry less authenticity. But it doesn't matter, because he had already cut the broadcast, and the seeds of doubt have already been sown among the citizens.

Thought I got spoiled concerning Dabi's reveal, that it something to do with him having some kind of close connection to Hawks. But obviously that is not the case, and the reveal that he is Endeavor's son just makes so much more sense since well, they both have fire quirks after all. I love thinking that I got spoiled but turns out I didn't get spoiled.

I like how it isn't completely random either, because the Todoroki's having an older brother was in fact mentioned before. Which I forgot about, so I'm glad they put that quick flashback there.

Well there it is, Dabi just exposed Endeavor's old racist tweets and now cancel culture can do its thing.

Whew man they delivered with this episode. The music really added to the ominous nature of Dabi's reveal, and you can really feel how much of a gut punch this was for Endeavor. Although this was a mostly dialogue-heavy episode, the animation was great when it mattered most, and Hiro Shimono in particular should get an award for his voice acting in this episode. I'm glad they did a good job on Dabi's Dance, even if the plot twist may have been obvious to some, this was a pivotal moment overall and it deserved a good adaptation.

Not a fan though of how they spoiled Best Jeanist right at the beginning of the episode lol. His re-appearance in the manga after being gone for so long was definitely more impactful as an unexpected end-of-chapter cliffhanger.

I can’t blame Bones for making this episode specifically look good but god I’m worried that this might be the only one we’ll get in the first half. Shimono did great with the whole speech, pretty much exactly how it sounded in my head. Shouto and Enji were great too. Love the flashbacks Fuyumiiiiiiiiiiii.

Best Jeanist fucking up Dabi decade long plan within 5 minutes is still the highlight of this entire ordeal.

Dabi has shaken hero society to its foundation. Continuing from Uraraka encountering Toga it was cool seeing Uraraka stand up for what she believes in the face of Toga. Uraraka flinging around those objects at here while trying to talk some sense into her. Tsu with the great save just as Toga runs away. The big reveal everyone had been waiting for is finally here! Dabi revealing it all candidly for the world to see. At this pivotal tipping point where the public could go one way or another, Dabi pushing them over the edge. Telling everyone he is in fact Toya Todoroki the long thought dead first born of Endeavor. Toya proclaiming how Endeavor saw possibility in his first son to go where Endeavor never could. Toya didn't have any cooling from the ice quirk of his mother but he had a stronger fire quirk than his father. So Endeavor didn't see it as that big a deal he didn't create his masterpiece at that time. He was satisfied with Toya just having more firepower.

Its interesting hearing Dabi explain it and hearing what Endeavor was thinking at the time. Dabi feels like there was this huge pressure on him from his dad but Endeavor seemed content with the quirk Toya got. Toya was hurt by there being more siblings since he saw that as him being replaced but they really just had them so the kids could support each other. Endeavor sounded heartbroken and confused seeing the son he thought was dead right in front of him. Endeavor even said that he looked for Toya after that huge fire. Dabi reveling in his huge demonstration to the nation, launching himself full firepower at his dad and little brother. Leading to the perfectly timed rescue from Best Jeanist! Who's not really dead!

With this episode, I can understand as to why Dabi's got a sizeable amount of popularity behind him, as this reveal with him being Toya, the eldest son of Endeavour, was done incredibly well.

Not only was his reveal to Endeavour himself and the other heroes made for a memorable moment, but with a certain hacker next to him, T.V and online footage was changed to him explaining his story to the public in the whole country about his past as well as Endeavour's drive for a perfect son, as well as sharing the moment where Hawks dealt the killing blow on Twice and going into detail about his father being a villain.

Although the arrival of Best Jeanist, now fully recovered, will prevent Toya's claims being undisputed, it will have done enough to sow the seeds of doubt within the society. Even if the heroes do win this battle, dealing with the public afterwards will be another immensely tough challenge to overcome.

Overall, this episode was excellent with the reveal and plot twist being done very well. Animation was also very good, too, with Toya's attack looking beautifully animated before Best Jeanist intervened.
