a season misunderstood by a childish custom

an important season that served to expand the Overlord universe from another perspective was the target of a childish habit because Ainz is in the shadows during the plot.

You don't understand that Overlord values ​​the other characters as a whole and NOT only Ainz to move the plot but the plot involving politics, conspiracy and war taken by the other characters to in the end reach a common point where everyone including Ainz will meet .

I bet they didn't realize that Princess Renner was somehow involved with Nazarick because they were busy complaining for no reason. at least I understand that the lizards arc was a little "boring" but it was important to the world domination plot.

the plot of the kingdom was pure gold.

I actually liked the lizard arc. It served as "Ainz"'s plans for world domination on a smaller scale and also development for Cocyutos. Same thing with the 2nd half for building up the kingdom and developing Sebas.
The political aspect is what makes Overlord so interesting and one of my favourite isekai, but most people only care for power fantasies.

I think the problem is that people were too used to Season 1's Ainz-centric story that they expect the same thing in Season 2, not realizing that Season 2 was focused on worldbuilding to prepare for Season 3.

Despite this whole political aspect I still enjoy watching it. Yes, maybe there should be a bit more action though it's nice to see a different perspective creator approach.

i bet if s2 had the same concept as season 1 people wpuld call it"repetive" but now it's jist "boring"

people be forgetting that Overlord is a novel by origin
ofc it's not all action, i mean politics of kingdom are interesting. i was bored when i firstw atched season 2 in anime format(probably bc i was 13) now i'm nearly 16 and i bought all the light novels and read them. uncomparable, anime left off sooo much plot, it's disappounting how they be putting 1000 pages of NOVEL MATERIAL into 12 21-23 minute episodes

This is my favorite season of Overlord actually and the Ln made it even better. Season 4 might take that place tho it's been pretty great and consistent. Season 3 is a lot better in the Ln compared to the anime imo.
As Long as the Sun, the moon, and the Earth exist, everything will be alright.

mushoku tensei has like 350-400 pages but they are 2,5 times smaller than overlord pages
overlord has like 260-300 pages a volume

overlord is more of a strategy, and first 9 volumes(seasons 1-3) are preparation for the final events (vols 10-18)

The Men of the Kingdom arc was probably my second favourite arc in the whole LN so far. It comes only to Paladin of the Sacred Kingdom but everything in existence comes behind that arc.

Overlord season 2 was actually my favorite season of all.
I really liked when they focused on the side characters, specially Sebas.

newest season is so boring before the release of the new season i was telling people to watch overlord (now cyberpunk anime ,fire force ,bleach at my top 3)

when it comes to magic with over powered characters it's normal for MC to just show its power and bend anything in its favour

but Aniz despite having great power he still sticks to politics to some extent where it's benifits nazaric that's what i find interesting
and ofcourse i like politics especially Geopolitics

welp, I liked s2 but hated where s3 was going. lets see if s4 can make me like it nearly as much as I did when watching s1 and 2.
