| A date episode means shenanigans and tbh, having a cat in the middle of drama made it weird but also amusing. Not going to lie though, the story hasn't improved much this season. Same plot loop elements but at least they kept the popcorn entertainment in tact. Ichigo can't ever catch a break. |

| With every fight, the aliens get stronger, and the foiled plans become one of much danger hovering above the Tokyo Tower. Aoyama and Shirogane meeting for the first time, and this is evident of a love triangle-like situation (though it's more amplified in the manga and not at all in this reboot). There were some cheesy lines for sure (that for the time period it was fine), and Ichigo becoming a full-fledged cat was a surprise, but the side-effect is tremendous if they don't defeat the aliens soon, and Ichigo will remain as a cat forever. The Chimera Anima attack on the Tokyo Tower states an emergency for the Mew Mews, and finding Mew Aquas certainly will help in their fight to dispose toxic gases in the cocoon. But the girls won't stand a chance to win without Ichigo, which her cat transformation lead her being saved by Aoyama to his house. Lau and Ichigo's cat-and-dog fight certainly was kinda hilarious, though his bedroom must've been a wild dream for her to even be on his bed, and sleeping together nonetheless as human and animal that a kiss awakens her human side. How to not awaken Aoyama now...how??? |

| I've noticed this since the first episode, but now that we had Aoyama and Ryou on the screen at the same time it's more obvious than ever, so... I can't be the only one weirded out at the fact that Ryou's skin is darker than Aoyama's in the new anime. lol It's so weird bc Aoyama's skin is way darker in the old version and it's dark even in the manga but for some reason he was totally whitewashed in this version... I wonder why. His character design is already so basic, with this lighter skin he looks even more like a random mob character. |
| The episode was super funny, Ichigo's last wish: "I wish I would have asked Mint to work harder so I can take it easier" lol, jeez Mint would it kill her to do some work. |
| They keep doing the main characters better and better! I love how we got a snippet of everyone's feelings towards Ichigo and how much she means for the team, stuff like that was sorely missing in the source material. I never really liked the cat thing in the manga, so this is probably my least favourite episode of this anime so far, but if we're ending the season with the battle at Tokyo Tower then I know I'll love the next two episodes! I don't want it to be over so soon TT_______TT |

There aren't many original colour illustrations of him drawn by Ikumi, but the few there are shows him being just as white as everyone else. |

| FINALLY THE NEKO HENSHIN EPISODE!!! I've been looking forward to this one, it wouldn't be TMM if she didn't turn into a cat. Nothing really happened yet I still really liked this episode, looks like next week we'll go back to the usual though. |

| Who would imagine that Ichigo's love rival would end up being a dog? It killed me laughing when Aoyama-Kun's doggie bragged that he was passed every day xD (at the very least, I don't think Ichigo would complain about being transformed into a cat haha, he almost drowned in the river, but it seems that was the price to pay for bathing and sleeping in the same bed with Aoyama-Kun haha). Taking charge of carving out the future of humanity, and the entire globe -including the hundreds of thousands of species that cohabit the blue planet-. With grace and gratitude, using the power and perseverance of certain animal species that extinction would not easily eliminate -because they would not let the aliens do whatever they wanted with the Planet-, because there were those who needed the Tokyo Mew Mew and the DNA they received served to reaffirm their mission... they were sure, together they could defeat the aliens and thwart their plans! |

I really want to adopt a dog, but the only breed that my boyfriend will accept is an Italian greyhound 😆 I have a keen eye for dolichocephalic breeds lmfao those long noses 🥰 Ichigi becoming a cat was quite unexpected 😆 even if we do get the teaser from the ED (which shows Ichigo and Shirogane going in for a kiss and both becoming cats?) Pretty funny that her whole team is looking everywhere for her, and she's just being bathed by her shirtless boyfriend lmao |
