| Too many pages with basically copypasted panels, differing by few minor details. Not to mention that this chapter felt like a special filler, not as a separate chapter of the main manga. Even if going by CSM writing standards, that are pretty low in general, this chapter was really underwhelming. |

| It was just okay. Possibly the worst chapter of part 2 so far. Nothing really plot relevant happened. It was just a chapter with Denji being Denji and eating cake. Yoshida is turning into a more interesting character in this part. I wanna see what his role is gonna be. I don't like how Denji is still the same, I do not like it when writers throw away all the character development a character had in the previous arc and just revert the character back to its original state. It just feels unrealistic and all the character development starts feeling pointless. I still have hope that this is just Denji putting on a facade and that he actually has changed and become more mature than he was in the previous arc. I will decrease my rating of Chainsaw Man if Fujimoto just removed all the character development of Denji entirely from the manga. Lastly I really wanna see Asa and Yoru again as I am much more invested in their story right now than just seeing Denji and his shenanigans. |
