| Whatever happens yes !! I wasn't expecting anything related to Inuyasha to ever come out after the Final Arc, so yeah it is not the best series but it is nostalgic to see all of them again as adults and their beautiful families. Again, I don't expect anything else to come out after Yashahime but whatever happens, I am open to it, just keep giving us more Inuyasha's content, I will gladly enjoy it. |

| Out of 5,000+ films, live action and cartoon TV series, anime series, etc., plus novels, video games, and all art across all mediums taken in, Inuyasha is my single favorite story and piece of art and fiction in existence. Therefore, to put it bluntly and succinctly, I'll simply watch anything that Inuyasha puts out as far as additional content (absolutely no interest in a remake though), be they sequels, prequels, midquels, random bonus filler-esque specials, etc. I was glad to see Ne no Kubi, the root youkai and that whole story which was created in the bonus sequel manga (Inuyasha Since Then - an epilogue) released in Japan in 2013 to garner funding and publicity for relief efforts for victims of the 2011 Tohoku tsunami and earthquake disaster finally adapted in the form of a Hanyou no Yashahime episode. 99 out of 100 sequels in all mediums are not even close to as good as the original story (except in series and stories which are deliberately intended to be multiple parts from the outset, like The Lord of the Rings). Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi conforms to this trend and is no exception. But I knew and expected that before it even began and could still largely appreciate aspects of it for what it was. |

There has been no announcement of a season 3, nor do I expect one and I think that's the general sentiment. There might be something else out of the Inuyasha-verse some day in anime form or some other form and they may tie-in some relation to the Hanyou no Yashahime characters and events, but I don't think most folks anticipate it to be something planned already right now or anytime necessarily soon if it ever does happen. |
