| i hate how he trains Gin but i understand his feelings and expectations and anger so i agree what he is doing with Gin training him to be fearless and survive no matter what |

| Meeting that rival was humbling. Should serve as motivation as well. What a tough training arc for Gin. I would feel sorry for him if it wasn't necessary and he looks even cute when he's struggling, lol.(still feels a bit selfish on the part of the grandpa. |

| Grandpa is a psycho, damn. It's fairly intuitive that a dog isn't going to be an efficient hunter if it's a house pet that lies on the couch all day, but this guy is taking it to the other extreme and beating a (one-month-old) puppy within an inch of its life. The series may be authenticating his training for the sake of the narrative itself, but you'd just have a dead puppy if you tried this in reality. Fortunately, the dogs here are made of titanium, so Gin is a badass now. There was some morbid humour in seeing him just immediately ragdoll the rest of his kin. |
