| Kotaro is picky with tissues since he had to eat them due to hunger, jesus that's dark. He's good at pretending to smile and even see's through his teacher's fake smile, smart kid. A promise is kept as Kotaro meets his old friend to watch the stars, more insight of what's he's been through, having to leave to get away from his father. Manga-ka is ill and can't delivery his work so Kotaro does it, his reaction to Editor not being with his family is understandable. It was nice to see him enjoying the tour and asking to do it again, but on a weekday. Kotaro was buying all the stock because he thought food sample woman was being force to eat them all, funny kid. |

| almost teared up at the prospect of kotaro having to eat tissues for a living... what a dark episode. the fake smile part hit a little too close to home for me. lmao at him buying all the stock at the convenience store because he thought the sample lady had to eat all the leftovers though. |

| With each episode, the title Kotarou Lives Alone is taking on heavier proportions. Every time Kotarou does some funny antic, I quickly find myself caught on a rollercoaster between how adorable it is vs how sad it really is vs how heartwarming it ultimately becomes. |

| So he ate tissues when he didn't have food, sad. I knew that something was up when he was talking to his food, because this is Kotarou, not a normal child. The editor dude has turned out to be a real nice person, he thinks that Kotarou should have fun. |
