| Damn did they literally just show the us history in that chapter lmao?? But damn I kinda saw it coming that thorfinn plan would fail based on history and I'm hoping for the author to go in a different direction and change it a little bit.. Well kinda excited to see what will happen next, and what thorfinn would do. |
| That old man having those dreams, showing the destruction Norse will bring forth with them. Well you can call it inevitable, as such is the state their world's in currently and it will only get worse from here on. So now i'm really doubting their support to Thorfinn and his crew. |

| This feels like a cheap way to get the natives to turn on Thorfinn and co and eventually lead to the historical reality happening in the manga. Great art, though. |
| Best Vinland arc chapter by far and probably the best chapter this year. The art was beautiful. It was an interesting but also great way to illustrate what explorations & colonialism will lead to as well as a good fictional narrative that will pit both groups against each other. On one hand I can understand the complaints about it being maybe more akin to fantasy, but to me it still feels like the best narrative to go with in order to create a conflict between both groups. |

| Kinda torn on this one. Drinking an elixir and then seeing centuries into the future is kind of bullshit. I feel like there could have been better ways to turn the natives against the Norse. Execution is clunky. However it's thematically a good idea to show that conflict is inevitable because the Norse only bring war and destruction with them, even if they don't want to (see the dude that brought a sword) |
