Im getting excited at the fact that fire force might be (or is at this point) a prequel to soul eater. Soul resonance, the moon and even Excalibur saying fool. I'm hoping that theory becomes true.

As soon as I read Soul Resonance my mind went straight to the theme music of Soul Eater.
The end result looked cool too, Shinra-Bansho-man.

Between the return of Soul Resonance in this chapter, and Excalibur calling Arthur a fool a few chapters ago, the Soul Eater Prequel theory is looking a lot more plausible now. Lol did they just go to the prequel!

Oh look, Ookubo did it again. He drove himself into a corner by creating an enemy that can't possibly be defeated and had to resort to bullshit in order to solve the impasse, just like he did in Soul Eater. I mean, why / how the fuck would Shinra even know how to do a Soul Resonance? It doesn't make any sense...

I thought he would've learned from his mistakes with Soul Eater given how much people complained about its last arc and the ending, but I guess not. And yes, I'm talking about the manga ending. It wasn't as atrocious as the anime one but it still was fucking bad.

I've always thought that fire force and soul eater were somehow related when I saw the sun, but I'm glad to actually see this theory being plausible or even outright canon (it's canon in my heart, but I'm interested to see if okuba spoonfeeds us this information)

Glad that it actually makes sense, the sudden transformation, a soul eater reference for sure. Anyway, it's sick though. Also, the detail is spot on.

it does make sense. you just wasn't reading proberly. souls play apart in fire force and theres also stuff like the soul eater moon and also that Shinra was the savior this final arc was really good and amazing and fire force as a whole was good and most people agree with me.
