Personal Rating: 7/10 (due to animation quality, sound and character design.) I’m seeing a lot of dislike towards the show and I kind of understand why; the villain not knowing whether he wants to kill the MC and the fact that Titan gets hurt by a bullet but heaven only gets her clothes a bit roughed up. I do however want to point out that this had 0 source material and is literally just to promote a game that has probably been delayed for sometime 2022. I’m personally enjoying the music and animation that this anime brings but do think that this anime would’ve benefited from more script planning and maybe more episodes. Conclusion: I’m personally finding myself getting attached to the whole concept of this anime and I see SO MUCH potential in the story. I would LOVE a continuation of the story (like a season 2) but honestly don’t see this anime/story getting anything more than just the 12 eps it’s getting. Forever there will be sadness in my heart that this anime (whole project tbh) didn’t get better planned out and executed. |

I have kinda worn off on this show. I still like it but it's only a 7 not the 8 it was. Art and music are great everyone agrees with that, but the story and characters are lacking. It makes sense because odds are its a gotcha game (someone went and explained why they think so and after hearing them I agree) and they don't tend to have the best characters or story and the studios didn't want to change the plot. Even though I understand why is not fantastic that doesn't change the fact its not. |

I am also enjoying this series. I am getting feeling both Takt and Destiny is going to die in future because Destiny is draining his life energy to herself alive. I really don't want both of them to die. Lenny died and feeling bad for Titan 😭 I think the ending of this anime will be same as Your Lie in April. |

In my case, on every ep is improving. First it was a 5/10, but know without doubt a 8/10. |

It’s been pretty disappointing imo because I felt it started off really well. The first 4 episodes or so used to establish the world were interesting but after that is all set up, the show felt very aimless. Hearing that it only has 12 episodes surprised me as it felt like barely anything had been achieved and suddenly it was time to wrap up |

Animation is good, but the music is not as good as I'd have hoped (as a fan of classical music). Story is haphazard, worldbuilding is practically non-existent. As for characters, Destiny and Lenny are the only interesting ones. They're trying with Takt though, at least. |

I feel like its a lot of wasted potential. Sure it looks clean, but aside from that there isnt really anything. The story is really mediocre and the characters are rather bland and uninteresting. The concept is somewhat okay, but they went into another direction which didnt help at all. But yea, given that its just there to promote a mobile game I feel like they invested too many resources into it and could've done a way better job. Its okay to watch, it just isnt anything special in any aspect |

You want an anime where you just turn off your brain and watch some cool fights. The anime description makes it seem like it’s gonna be similar to Vivy but it simply fails to have interesting characters. They’re one dimensional and lack motives. The plot is alright... But really wish to explore the theme more..(considering its a promotion for the game...and has no pre-material...i think its fine) Characters are good... The dynamics b/w the 2 lead characters is fun to watch... watching destiny grow with each ep..aha not a fan of antagonist (s) though. Music/OSTs: fine(but i expected better)... OP is fire Fights/animation...as anyone would expect from MAPPA n MADHOUSE... top tier For me its a fun show to watch weekly... Not so bingable.. i guess Its gettin better with each ep...lets wait n see last 2 or 3 eps.. what they bring to the table. Have a nice day. |

They definitely botched the story. Honestly it's got wonder egg syndrome; they have a cool concept with some cool characters, and a strong start. However, they stumble and fall before the finish line. Hopefully, it finishes alright but the 10th episodes definitely left me with a lot of questions. |

But yeah, you do you man keep hating it score it lower I’m honestly giving this anime slack since it’s a promotional anime for the mobile game that’s coming out and it’s animated by MAPPA x Madhouse (two powerhouse studios in recent years). I’m personally rating this anime a 7/10 which I think is more than fair for this anime. I personally believe that an anime or any show for that matter is only as good as their antagonists. If the antagonists are written bad then the main characters don’t develop which is where people start losing interest, especially for anime of this genre. That being said I honestly think the antagonist was lame besides the fact that he reveals that he basically causes the accident which killed his father. Other than that the antagonist is ehh but I’ll give the creators the benefit of the doubt and wait for this anime to finish before making up my mind on my thoughts about the antagonist. Maybe in the final episode we get an amazing uphill battle against our MC and the mofo who killed our beloved Lenny lol. I urge anyone who is super critical of this anime to view this anime from a “it’s a promotional anime for both game and anime studios involved” point of view. It’s not an anime that is based off a light novel or manga where the author has spent years and many nights unable to sleep building intricate characters, plot developing scenarios/well written antagonists. This anime’s story was probably written within less than a year and I definitely can’t forgive the companies involved who pushed for this anime to release without more script development time. Everything past this is me just ranting so you can consider everything above my review and thoughts on this anime: On top of this the mobile game was delayed to a 2022 release instead of its original end-of-year 2021 date. What they should’ve done first when starting this project was make a great, well thought of script/storyline to use to then make an anime and mobile game off of. Then air the anime so it finishes around the time we’re done debugging and patching any known bugs. Then release the game the week of or a week after the anime is done airing, that way everyone who enjoyed the anime can quickly continue the experience and new characters in game. |

I’m personally rating this anime a 7/10 which I think is more than fair for this anime. I personally believe that an anime or any show for that matter is only as good as their antagonists. If the antagonists are written bad then the main characters don’t develop which is where people start losing interest, especially for anime of this genre. Yep, thanks for explaining. And I agree with you, while I've not been following up with the game. I've always seen it as a promotional material for a game, and a Popcorn anime. And I also do admit that 7/10 for this show is a very generous score. |

LmfaoVeryGhoul said: Androkit said: VeryGhoul said: XoKy said: personally I fucking hate this anime but it’s really sad that it turned out to be bad because it’s concept has so much potential and there are moments in the anime where you can actually see how it would actually be if the script wasn’t shit. So much wasted potentialI’m seeing a lot of dislike towards the show and I kind of understand why; the villain not knowing whether he wants to kill the MC and the fact that Titan gets hurt by a bullet but heaven only gets her clothes a bit roughed up. Why do you hate it so much? I mean I admit, the story is mediocre and characters are shallow. It's certainly not masterpiece for sure, but I am genuinely curious as to why you hate it so much because wasted potential, as much as it sad, I don't think it's that bad. It was supposed to be popcorn fun and it delivered. That answered nothing.. Just a bunch of buzz words. But yeah, you do you man keep hating it score it lower |

I dropped this anime (you can see this at my page). I only like the characters, maybe some of the conflict. Overall, this is going to be in my drop zone until I have the intention to watch it all over again. 6/10 for me. Sorry, MAPPA. I liked jujutsu kaizen better. |

First of all, when we search recommentations based on this anime, anime which pops up first is vivy. That itself is entirely wrong. Vivy is far more better than this anime. They can't even campare each other. Second thing is that, at second last episode, anna's surprise kiss irritated me alot. I like takt ending up with destiny even more than cosette. At the ending, merging of destiny with anna concept tends me give urge to tear apart the screen. My score is 5/10 |

This is the show that you would putting high expectation on it but ended up just straight disappointing. It's literally butchered itself with "music-based anime" concept by making the music just for background and nothing more significant. The first anime I dropped deep. |

I rated this anime a 5 and I feel kinda about about it. During the New Orleans jazz episode, you really feel like the show has a lot to say and wants to do more, but when the humans turn out to be the true villains, everything goes drastically downhill. I get that this show was meant to promote a game, and I have no idea how that will turn out, but we’re the music hating aliens not good enough villains to continue to sell your product where you’ll probably have to kill aliens???? I wish the concept were given a chance to be more well explored, and I wish that this show didn’t deviate from what made it interesting. Ps. Am I the only who really felt weird that both Anna and Takt kinda just gave up on Cossette and were more emotionally involved when Destiny was dying? Like they went to New York entirely for this purpose to solve the issues that made Takt a maestro and let Destiny take over Cosette’s body. I know that they kinda mentioned that they were at peace with never getting cosette back, but it felt like that plot deserved a way better resolution |

I cant believe how hard people are review bombing this show you would think this was the worst anime ever made EVER with all the ones its getting. Maybe I missed this anime claiming to be the second coming of christ or something and therefore wasn't disappointed by it. |

It had some issues but I actually really enjoyed the show. It deserves a better score than 7.22. (That is lower than zero no tsukaima, one of my least favorite animes of all time) |

I personally just enjoyed the vibes, characters, music, and animation since I already gave up trying to enjoy the plot. I was about to give it a 7/10 but that last scene on the beach hit hard so I gave the show another point. But what really surprises me is the lowest reviews getting the most helpful votes. Maybe this anime wasn't that great but it's definitely not lower than a 5/10. This was one of the few times I'm actually glad the minority don't hold much sway on the overall rating of the anime because this show is pretty much a true 7/10. And god forbid you actually finish a 12-ep show only to give it a 1/10, you might as well have dropped it on episode one, or else you just wasted your time. Now what really gets me is how some reviews actually shit on the animation saying it's absolute garbage. Like holy shit bro, if you think this animation was bad I can't imagine you ever watching the other 90% of anime out there. |

Honestly, I see allot of 1 reviews because it came from a gatcha game. Tbh, the fact I didn't now this till reading the complaints means it's pretty decent for a promotional anime. Most promotional anime you can kinda tell it's made to promote something. Honestly, I think this anime is decent. Not the best in the world but certainly not the worst. I will say that it's story is a bit slow however I liked the unique world it was building. Was it the best storytelling in the world? No. Honestly it's Story (for a normal anime) is some what average. It's animation however was quite good and the Story itself did not fall into the many traps that most promotional anime fall into(Shoving Characters down your throat, leaving it with an unsatisfying cliffhanger that stops the story partway, referencing things only the gamers would know, and even promoting the game directly in it's content). For me, I don't consume any other media besides the anime and so these pitfalls often ruin the experience for me since I am not interested in spending hours of gameplay in order to explore lore and plot. For me this was a decent show with a unique plot. Was there allot of filler? Yes, but majority of anime have filler. And tbh the CGI wasn't particularly jarring as it is in some anime. Honestly, if you don't mind classical music, you like fantasy, fan of post-apocalyptic worlds, don't mind slow plot and don't mind some copy-paste enemies? then you might like this. Of course if you hate any of these things, you likely wont enjoy this series as much. |

I saw he give him a kiss and was just kind of wondering why that just happened out of the blue(and in front of Cossette). Not that I couldn't give a reason as to why she did that(such as it was the last time she may ever see him). I just didn't realize she had feelings for him until that point. As for never getting cosette back, I feel like it was alluding to having someone forgetting their memories forever. Don't get me wrong, I definitely hoped for Cossette to come back in some way(such as Destiny gaining her memories), but I am not surprised it didn't end up that way as it more focused on accepting Destiny for who she is even if she isn't the same Cossette. |

I want an OVA where everyone is still alive and theyre on a beach. A scene where Titan, Destiny/Cossete, Ana give us some fan service we deserve. Also, a sparring match between Destiny and Titan on their bikini would be awesome. Heaven and Hell are the referee and ofcourse, theyre wearing something awesome. A Takt x Ana moment. Maybe they try a courage trial in the forest and they get lost. And here we have a rare moment of Ana not being a big sister, but a cute pure scaredy lady. Now an OVA like that will be better than the entire 1-12 episodes lmao. |
