Guys I have the dual audio version by anime4ever (a4e), and i want to convert the video but I will have to choose english or japanese, so did anyone watch both versions and can tell me which to watch? either watching it subbed by a4e or watch it subbed in English >.<

Do you like or wish for the Otonashi X Tachibana Kanade pairing from Angel Beats? Or just love both characters?

Dubbed.
Fruits Basket is one of those rare anime that has better English audio over Japanese in my opinion.

Completely disagree. The dub quality is horrible. Character voices sound mismatched, pacing of dialogue is awkward at best, and the female in particular just sounds bland. Even from the first moment of the OP song being terribly out of tune in the english version you can tell the dub is a piece of shit. I also have the dual audio release, and often switch tracks back and forth to compare.

Definitely recommend subs.

I have the DVDs so I prefer dub because all of the characters voice were perfect! It's very rare for every main and supporting characters to have the perfect voice.
When I was watching it subbed, I didn't expect Yuki's voice to sounded so girly. And Yuki is the only problem I had when watching it in subtitles.

Whatever floats your boat. Either one is good imo. One of the coolest things about the show is that it's Op is actually in both languages for anyone who cares.

I like Subbed! I enjoy listening to the Japanese audio with subtitles! I think the English Dub doesn't do justice to the Japanese voice actors.

Subbed. The dub actors try way too hard to sound like the Japanese seiyuu. Or they just have incredibly annoying voices. I will never understand the people who say they prefer Yukis corpse of an English voice actor simply because he sounds more "masculine".

I generally watch animes subbed and did so with Fruits Basket for the first couple of episodes, but switched to dubbed after that because the subs simply moved too fast for us to follow...probably because there are so often multiple people talking at the same time.
We're not having any problems with the dubbed version at all, although there's no denying that the opening and closing songs are way cuter in Japanese.

Dubbed! I'm rewatching it for the first time in 9 years, and I find the Japanese version unbearable. Usually, I strongly prefer watching subbed anime, but Fruits Basket in English feels so much more sincere and sentimental. I feel this way about a lot of other late 90s to early 2000s shows - the dubs are just better. Maybe it's just nostalgia, since I first watched most of those shows that way.

Plus, I think Laura Bailey and Jerry Jewell have great voices! :)

I have to agree with you and the majority of the people above. I love the Dub for this show. Especially Laura Bailey, her voice is so cute and the ED song is too! I like Jerry's voice as well, he and Laura go great together just like their anime counterparts.
