| Haven't watched it yet but that OP is kinda........eh.........hopefully the animation makes up for it otherwise I'm missing the old OP already. It reminds me WAY too much of the first ED. I know they're both by SiD and all but still. I rate the song a 7.5! Edit: oh and thanks for uploading the new OP early for us! |

The opening was disappointing for me too, it felt like an ending to me. Especially since there was quite a lot of still framed backgrounds, a real letdown compared to what we had for the past 3 openings [and even the original FMA]. For the last opening it lacked 'oomph' completely. The only good thing is that it had a really good backdrop of Greed. I was gonna add that it didn't spoil anything, but ... there really isn't anything to spoil anyways. The ending reminds me of a Digimon Frontier ending, but maybe that's just me. :) Nothing to write home about either. A score of 3/10 for opening, 5/10 for ending in my book. :( |

| The OP and ED were both terribad. I expected something better for the ending of the series. The animation is nice though, if spoilerific. |

| Aww... love the opening scene of Winry watching over Edward. Nice opening, feeling of desolate future... but with hints of hope :D ending... its okay,,, was hoping for a Gurren kind of song, (oh well) episode 5/5 |
| OP - Nice music (I question whether it fits or not), with high quality animation... However, that animation has terrible transitions, and at time these transitions are eyesores (mostly around the part in the town, with Scar and Bradley (and just before that)). ED - Also nice music, but animation wise, where the hell did the budget that was used in the op go? |
| Wangst OP is wangsty. After a couple watches, I got used to it, and alongside the ED it sets a beautiful tone for the finale of my beloved FMA. |

| I was hoping for something upbeat and fast for the new OP, but I still like the new one. It has a sad tone and makes you feel really uncertain of what kind of ending FMA will have. It was really well animated but not without its spoilers (One of which was cleverly shadowed xD) Speaking of which, anyone notice the house at the end of the OP? That's not the Elric house, is it? The ED was uummm... aahhh... Will take some getting used to? Wow... The first part of episode was pretty bloody. And Envy's comeback was really (o_O) |

| As always, an episode full of entertainment, there should be a limit of how good an anime can be, this just gets better every week. just when I was getting annoyed with Al (I always forget he's just a 10 year old :P) looks like he will be kicking some kimblee butt. 10/10 and loved both the OP/ED, the lyrics match with the animation, and the music are nice, the songs are nice, have no clue why everyone is complaining, well i guess it boils down to individual taste, so no complain on everyone's complains :D |

| To be honest, I'm a little amazed at the negative feedback for the new OP. Personally, I found it brilliant. Better than any of the original FMA OPs put together, yes, even Rewrite. Song surprised me but nearly had me in tears by the end of it. And really, it's not that spoilerific as people make it out to be. You have to think about the scenes to actually get what the spoilers are. If you're not a manga reader, chances are you're not going to be spoiled. Most of the scenes don't even contain spoilers. Though, I am curious at the many appearances of Trisha and the odd Trisha-like Truth thing. Dunno about that. As for the episode, I really, really liked it lol. Some great scenes wrapped up in a nicely packaged episode. And YES, go Al. |

| That OP was AWFUL! Been waiting 11 freakin episodes for one as good as golden time lover or again, but this is worse than the last one. A couple of nods to plot points. Liked the part with Roy, but overall, very drab... bo-ring. Awkward winry chest-wtf? So sad. Kinda expected them to go way overboard with the action and blow my face off since it is the last one. :( i die inside. And as for the episode, nice to see Envy back in ac, and yes!!! Alphonse becomes kick-ass finally. |
| Your mileage may vary for the op/eds; I personally loved them. Anywho, great episode. Brotherhood is certainly doing the manga justice. |

Yup, not everything appearing in FMA openings are canon. Like Period's Envy-Lan Fan fight, and Kimblee + Sloth co-op. Like the psychiatrist's blot test, it's pretty much open to intepretation. I honestly don't think Winry-Truth makes sense, Winry has been a side-character all the while I'd still rather this opening been more 'rock' or shounen-ish. If I had to introduce someone to FMA I definitely won't chose OP 5. Though OP 5 would work great, in introducing the differences between the original FMA anime and Brotherhood, since it doesn't spoiler anything too obvious [for the uninitiated], yet it illustrates a greater context for the side characters + new major side characters, eg. Maria Ross, Scar's deflection, crazed Greed, another Armstrong sister, more Hoenheim mystery. |

| I don't like Japanese music anyway so I don't particularly care what the opening or ending is. Although, saying that the first opening for the original FMA is probably the best opening ever. Pretty good episode though with the dolls and Al's epicness. |

| The supposed spoilers in the opening and ending are really bothering me. Not to mention that they're both lackluster. I'm really fucking upset about them. I want an FMA opening to be fast paced, and full of hype, but this slow ass shit just makes me feel emo. Not a good way to go out. Something so little... but it irks me soooooo deeply. |

It fits the feel of what is happening in manga, it also fits the feel of sort of "epilogue"/.calm before the storm. Who said that FMA would end "all happy" way? Surelly I don't see it ending with a "omg everyone dies" way as it would not fit the main idea of fma, however i donot expect everyone to make it either. Ultimately both OP and ed is about hope and moving forward.(the way OP contrasts with the last OP scene of ed sleeping and winry watching over him in the rebuild house) and etc. If anything this OP and ED embodies the main idea behind fma the best. |

| OP song is nice, it'll take some time for me to get used to it. It isn't spoiler-free but it doesnt have spoilers for manga readers. Only surprising thing is the Truth-Winry. I skip the ED songs but when I watched it it feels like they cut back on animation there. Good song btw. Episode is awesome.Feels a bit fast but they fill it up with some dialogues to extend it. Loved how Envy returned. Sloth vs Armstrong is also great. Lol at subs on Alex's entry. Alphonse was really awesome coming out of that cloud dust. I give up on guessing how much they'll put on each episode, let them do this and I'll enjoy the awesomeness that is FMA:B 5/5 |
