I liked the anime but the manga is many Times better.
Animation, sound is very good.

VA from Yuzu is bad because it is the incest sister from Kirito (sao).. but that's only a small ➖
7/10 Anime

Yohhh I questioned why everyone is sexually assaulting each other but hey man, it was definitely an enjoyable watch.
I’d prefer watching something like this with the crazy premise than a generic romance/drama/comedy cause a I’ve seen way too many of em😂

I just feel like there was so much drama that was totally unnecesarry/avoidable... It got INCREDIBLY tiring and stupid towards the end... Goodness gracious I hated the last few episodes of this. The premise is... Interesting. It was interesting enough for me to watch it at least... But anyways... Overall very general or below avarage anime for my taste. You are perfectly right it ain't for everyone.

I found it pretty bad, the animation all went to the kissing scenes and characters come and go in a snap, none of them feels fleshed out and I don't know why so many people are simping for the pink head chick

Definitely not for everyone but as a huge Shojou AI/Yuri fan as well as someone who prefers spicy/more dramatic romances it’s one of my favorites. So much so that I’m reading it now and so far the manga is even better IMO.

I get it is no perfect, some of the annoying characters, the last few episodes with the Tachibana sisters who felt that came out of the blue, the drama about small problems that could be easily solved by speaking to each other. But, for some reason, I can't say other thing about this series beside that it is perfect.

I get the story feels like it's out of control at times but it is not different to when you fall in love for the first time when you're a teenager. For me it is an ode to "the first love". It is hard it is problematic, it causes hundreds of thoughts and trouble that could be avoided by simply talking but for some reason, words just can't come out of your mouth the way you need them to and end up complicating the situation even more.

I have a crush on this whole series, I liked it so much, I bought the manga and haven't read anything that comes after the anime ending, because I got so involved on Yuzu's stubborn wish to be with Mei that I'm afraid that the happy ending the anime series gave me, is stripped away by the manga.

The character design, the animation on everything that is important, I'm aware of the ugly cg crowds, but the thing is, I noticed that after my 20th rewatch. the music score fits so right in every scene, the opening, the ending. Every piece just falls in place.

I'm a straight guy who couldn't care less about homosexual relationships even less about specifically lesbian relationships since I'm not a girl, but for some reason I just found in this series a way to relive high school crazy, clumsy, romantic, teenage love. 9/10

When I started this show I didn't have high expectations, just expected an avg one. But ended up in my top 10(and trust me I've watched no less number of shows u can check). The person who wrote the 8/10 review for Citrus on Mal which is displayed on citrus's cover page is the best way possible to describe the anime so I wouldn't waste my time writing further. Also I am a bisexual person myself so this was kind of a bliss for me as well... Ended up loving Yuzu.

Since u love the anime, read the manga. They only animated a part of it(approximately the first 16 chapters). The sequel manga Citrus plus is ongoing and imo manga in most cases gives a better feeling than the anime.

Absolute banger from start to finish; the show is pretty shit to say the least, but that’s why I watched it. It’s so funny how characters sexually assaulting each other are just “confused” and how sexual some scenes may be even when they don’t need to be. Every episode made me laugh multiple times because I would notice how dumb something is and just laugh. My one gripe about the anime is though that I think it kinda takes itself a bit too seriously, but that didn’t really inhibit on my experience; also I will say the teenage romance aspect was kinda “wholesome” to watch because it seemed pretty innocent and odd considering two people were trying to figure out their feelings or what not. But overall, I had extremely low expectations that I stuck to, and I loved it; nonstop laughing and being like “wtf?” just made it enjoyable.

This introduce me to Shoujo AI so this show is very close to my heart. I know this show's premise is very questionable so you don't need to tell me, this show is pure nostalgia and an introduction to a genre that I really like.
