 A fourth season of the Kingdom television anime was announced following the 26th and final episode broadcast of the third season on Sunday. The announcement also revealed a teaser visual (pictured) and a Spring 2022 premiere.The anime series adapts Yasuhisa Hara's historical drama manga, which he began in Young Jump magazine in January 2006. Shueisha shipped the 62nd on July 16. Studio Pierrot produced the first two seasons in Summer 2012 and Summer 2013, each airing in three cours. The third season by Studio Signpost premiered in Spring 2020 and was postponed after four episodes till Spring 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. | Manga is still doing great in Japan, so yeah Season 4 is expected. This is nice because the anime is great so far, I just hope it doesn't get delayed again. |

| Would honestly love to watch Kingdom, but season 1 will be difficult to sit through because of its animation. Season 2 and 3 look pretty great though, so I might do it anyway. |
| Pretty awesome news. I still gotta binge S3, but I might as well wait for S4 to air. Here's hoping to even more seasons in the future and a complete adaptation. |

| one of very rare case where anime adaptation get better as more season goes. and recently world trigger. i like this trend. they take time rather than rushed and pushing production to it's limit. |
