Miki Kawai for sure, I couldn't stand that b*tch. While Ueno somewhat tried to redeem herself towards the end (by learning sign language) you can't say the same for this narcissistic b*tch (at least in the movie, haven't read the manga). And Ueno never claimed to be a good person, she was actually just looking out for his friend Ishida, so I kind of understand her (even though she was very wrong in a lot of other aspects). Whereas, that entitled little b*tch always acted high and mighty and threw others under the bus and never accepted her mistakes. Man I really hate her

Never accepts her mistakes rather blames it on another. Ueno atleast didn't acted innocent, she accepted that she was a bitch and in the end she kind of redeemed herself. But end of day both suck.

I have read the manga and in manga Naoka loves Ishida so much and cared about him.In manga when miki blame Ishida and exposed the past of Ishida infront of whole class there Naoka Tried to save Ishida .Naoka got a redemption in manga so i don't hate her but i still don't like miki.

In manga Mashiba satoshi throw water in his face because the homeroom teacher was rude to Ishida.Although later the homeroom teacher has realised that it is his fault for bad mouthing Ishida.

I would recommend reading the manga, it’s way better imo. She doesn’t redeem herself at all in the manga too though

Exactly! Most people just hate Naoka because of the way she treated Shoko, like threating her in the ferrywheel and assaulting her infront of the hospital, which is terrible (don't get me wrong) but the thing is, everything she did, she did out in the open, everyone could see it and she didn't denie it. Miki on the other hand took part in almost every prank they did to Shoko as kids and never accepted it, she revealed that Shoya bullied Shoko just over a little argument and played innocent and even victim, she's a bitch through and through.

Naoko is infinitely worse. Miki didn't even bully Shoko, while Naoko savagely tormented her and beat her to a pulp. I don't even know why these people would say Kawai is worse, Maybe it's because they hate attention-hogging more than being a violent scum? I don't understand this sentiment.

Kawai is a looooong way ahead. She's so damn fake that I can't even tell if she herself even knows it or if she's so deep into this lie that she's convinced herself. Ueno's just pretty much a tsundere (who may have even liked Ishida) that realizes the type of person she is, but just doesn't want to let go of the fun times for some deaf girl. You can at least catch her working on herself later on.

Kawai would definitely be a murderer that almost gets away with it on Danganronpa

I just read the manga, and there are quite a few things about Ueno that are cut that kind of explain her behaviour a bit more. I wouldn't necessarily say I hate her, though her actions are terrible at times even still, but Kawai is still much worse to me. You can see Ueno trying to make things right a little bit earlier in the manga than she does in the anime.

I never saw Kawai as detestable as she never really directly bullied Shouko. It was true that she never tried to help but it was just reading the mood and only something brave can go against. She was full of protecting herself in that atmosphere that is most normal response.
