While I agree the double recap of this series was a little much, the story was still interesting. It touched on subjects not usually mentioned (as far as I have seen). I haven't seen an anime touch on the subject of transgender before. Also the premise of making friends with another person who lost her friend to suicide. I think it was in the bowling scene where it was translated as "Is that your friend who committed suicide?" and they were bonding over that! What the heck! Idk it just blew my mind

I think they may have started with a good story, but as they went along they kept adding stuff that eventually they just did not have time to explain. Like they could have ended it was a boss battle with Frill and her companions; as a result, there would be fewer suicides among girls.

Overall, still disappointed with this OVA.

Oh for sure there are. But like I said, I personally have not watched too many anime that discuss it. The only one that comes to mind is Hourou Musuko. Maybe Steins Gate, but it's been a few years since I've seen it so I don't recall how much it was discussed there.

Majority of it was due to the terrible scheduling the staff had. Production was an absolute train- wreck for WEP especially in the second half of the season, and that seems to have affected the story. The recap was more than likely because of production issues. Its possible a sequel was anticipated though, maybe a sequel movie, but because of the state of its production this is what we were forced to get.

You know they could have cut the AI/Frill stuff out altogether and have them all bring their friends back and then having to deal with the consequences afterwards. Hindsight is 20/20 though.
