So yeah... I forgot NNT was getting a movie, totally slipped my mind and just saw it when I visited the theaters to watch something, saw this and told myself *eh why not*
My expectations were extremely low going into this cause... well yknow how this got treated ever since Deen took over, I still cannot move on from how they murdered Mel V Escanor and literally everything since A-1 dropped this.
Rant aside to my surprise the movie was quite fun, the story happens before Mel and Eli gets married, and is during King and Dianne one, 2nd fairy king and the giant's craftsman whom apparently was the one that made Mel's LOSTVAYNE sacred weapon were the early 2 enemies of this movie before the big bad Supreme Deity. The animation was ayt for the most part, and got actually good near the end with Mel,Zel V SD.
Story was straightforward, Demon realm got attacked by 2nd FK and craftsman, which were apparently being controlled by the SD cause she thinks WAR IS ESSENTIAL and she hates the 7DS for stopping it hence her actions.
Escanor doesnt really show up and while Merlin was also in the movie she didnt even interact let alone fought with the sins. She was just there with Arthur and by the end of the movie she said the era of the Gods are over and says something which is a huge spoiler so I wont say it.
Mel and Zel combos were amazing, Mel basically just joined the fights because she wanted to be a better brother to Zel hence wanted to spend time with him.
Also... am I missing something? did Meliodas lose his assault mode? cause he never once entered it unless 2nd FK, craftsman and SD were just that weak that he put a handicap on himself. If yall thought the DK was a fcking joke then wait till u see how SD gets treated by a MEL that doesnt even go AM, minus a Merlin and Escanor too.
Anyways yeah, entertaining movie, albeit dumb and inconsistent but still fun nonetheless.
Guess this is goodbye to this series,

Animation wise def the 1st one. Plot wise…both are pretty meh but still pretty fun if you’re a fight junkie.. but the 2nd one which is this one is easier to fit in the canon story while the other one was random af, imo plotwise 2nd one is better.

i know you don't ask me but yeah i want to share, animation i think is good, but yeah compare to 1st movie, the 1st is the best. Story, i can say it is better than the first because this has something to do with the series, take place after season 4 ended meanwhile the 1st one has nothing to do with the main series.

i'm glad that this movie is well received in Japan, so much positive responds despite what happened with the series.

this kinda hard to answer bcs i don't really mind animation, so i think the safest answer is it is better than the last 2 seasons but not on par with the first movie, there are 2 intense battle in the movie so yeah there are a lot of fight animations. But i think if you don't really into the series, just wait it release on netflix XD

I love the series which is why i stuck through the animation of the 3rd and 4th season cuz i loved the characters and story. Im was just debating if i wanted to see it in theaters or not cuz anime fights are always more fun on the big screen. But from what im reading online it seems like the fights in this movie are in fact preety decent so ill def prob watch it on the big screen. Glad that at least my final goodbye to this series has some nice animation in it

In the back of my mind, all that I'm watching for is this: since Nakaba Suzuki's manga is already done, trying to milk this series is only on the agenda for those involved (plus the mangaka himself).

Get over it, it's just post-evemts after Season 4, add in some revenge from clans that don't feel justfied from the results of the Holy War, and that's it. You coulf've just made an OVA rather than a movie, though business > quality.

Put Seven Deadly Sins to rest already.

So this pretty much just existed because the Angel Goddess was never officially defeated and now that this is done, I wonder if there'll be more animated content. Kind of hoping not if the conditions follow the same mark but well, let's see.

In all fairness, it was a pretty dull movie. Action scenes weren't really impressive by any means but the sound department fared a little better in that. More time between Meliodas and Zeldris was nice though, it's kind of amazing how they ended up being Kings in the Human & Demon worlds though. Best scene for me was easily Zeldris barging in while Meliodas and Elizabeth were having a smooch moment xD.

Diane and King's marriage sequence was nice to see but sadly it didn't end well. Ban and Elaine on sync with not wanting to hold a fancy ceremony was nice too.

ED theme was great! Got to give it Sawano-san and Porno Grafitti there.

Honestly, I haven't really gotten much else to say lol. Going to settle with a 5/10, I guess. It wasn't bad and could certainly make sense in the canon world but it didn't hit me as impressive either.

Just the thought of listening to Hiroyuki Sawano's soundtrack in the cinema's sound system is already worth a ticket price, which I haven't buy since my country is hit heavily by the pandemic and thus all cinema are closed.

But I already have eargasm just by watching it at home, which is nice too!

Can't wait for the sequel.

I just want to say I went in with low expectations. But this movie was on the level of SDS season 1. I can say this movie was a redemption for the series, and I can look at this movie and say that I am satisfied with how it ended.

This wasn't actually that bad, but just because it's one of the most mediocre franchise movies I've seen, I'm gonna give this a 4/10.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

The animation was shit as usual and I really couldn't take the final boss seriously because of that funny cgi. I fell asleep when the fight was going on. But it was good to see my favourite characters back for a while.

I feel like they used most of their funds on Dubs cuz he literally was the only character that looked well done than all the other characters.

Overall 6/10, solely because of nostalgia.

If Mokushiroku no Yonkishi ever gets an anime adaptation, I really just hope they don't get possessed by some shit to give it up to Deen.

I genuinely enjoyed this movie. It was amazing but it fleshed out Gelda and Meliodis’ brother more which I appreciated. So glad they made the Holy Knights able to hold their own in this movie!

Solid movie that which you certainly should watch after the last season being: Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan as various events happened that only make sense after watching that season

In general I quite enjoyed this movie and as thought they pretty much can go in any direction with the current story even if this is just between the 1.5 year time gap they showed in the last episode of the previous mentioned season.

Either way a pretty solid movie if you ask me.

I liked the movie. I didn't watch season 3 and 4 and read the manga instead so I can't judge the animation of those seasons but this movie's animation wasn't bad at all. The movie tied up some loose ends regarding Zeldris and Supreme deity and concludes the story. It gets a 8/10 from me.

The Movie was average. It was better than the 1st one in my opinion. The animation was better than the anime at least although it wasn't as good as the animation from the first movie. The movie kind of filled the void of what happened between episode 23 and 24 of the last season.
I would recommend watching this after the last season. Nothing much else to mention apart from it was nice to see the characters again and overall it was a nice farewell to the series. 6/10

Within the first minute the animation is already worlds ahead of the last two seasons of 7DS. It's actually somewhat impressive, in an insulting kind of way.

I can't say much for the story though. It was a short movie, so it seemed like if anything Studio Deen was just trying to respond to all the hate about animation. It reinforced the idea of the Age of Chaos without actually addressing, elaborating, or expanding whatsoever on it.

At least the fight with Meliodas and Zeldris vs the Supreme Deity looked much, much better than the fight with the Demon King.

This last movie was surprisingly decent imo. Plot was bare-bones as expected, but the art/animation was considerably better than the last two Seasons and the soundtrack was on-point.

Pretty fun overall; liked it slightly more than the first movie. Didn't exactly have a high bar of expectations to clear, sure, but at least it helped wash the taste of Season 4's 2nd half out of my mouth, so it wasn't a bad note to end the story on.

I really missed seeing 7DS in a decent animation. It sucks the final season didn't have this kind of animation; there were so many cool fights there.

Good movie, however, it's lacking cool fights. 7/10

this was good to say the least it was nice to see what happens before they all have kids and such making it bridge to the sequel series

with that said if it wasnt for Deen i feel this could have been better cause while the quality was a little better than what they did with season 3 and 4 it was no where near the quality is should be for a movie

so here's hoping the sequel series is not made by Deen please let it not be Deen

It was a rather nice movie. I kinda expected it could be worse, cause I think the series kinda dragged on through the Holy War, and then ended weirdly before this movie, but it was nice. And it was especially good, when I decided to watch it in sub instead of dub. I mean geez, the dub kinda annoyed me, and it's kinda weird, cause I think I watched the whole series in dub, before this point. Guess I fell out of liking the dub after finishing the series sometime ago, and then now finally getting to the movie. Anyway though, I thought this movie had a nice enough conclusion. And animation felt alright to me too. Kinda baited me though, with putting Escanor on the front cover, but it is what it is, I guess
