I don't think it would be recap, because they announced it at the end of ep 11, surely they wouldn't announce a recap at the end of a cour in the last episode, usually filler specials just usually come out

In the end of episode 11 it says 'Special Episode' "The Poppies Bloom Red on the Battlefield" huh, probably a recap but i'm not convinced tho

Looking at the title it’s really similar to the prologue in volume one “Coquelicots Blooming Across the Battlefield” and the special episode’s title is “The Poppies Bloom Red on the Battlefield”.

I am a LN reader, and this will likely serve to play out what is epilogue 1 in the LN (which follows immediately after Volume 1).

Initially the author didn't intend to create past Volume 1, but the Epilogue is something that they later used to bridge into further parts of the story. You're in for something great! :]

Are you sure about this? I heard the epilogue of the first volume spoils the end of the series (spoils volume 3?). The reason being is because this series was originally supposed to be just 1 volume/a one shot, but obviously that has changed. So are you sure? If so shouldn’t it be best for anime only people to avoid it?

it will one of the best eps , seeing how they added extra scenes in anime this special ep will have extra scenes showing lens struggle after shin's 86 left. A new 86 will be under her control and she will get a nickname , this is gonna be lit

I think it will show the Prologue in volume one as they have very similar titles "Coquelicots Blooming Across the Battlefield" a Coquelicot is a Poppie that is the shade of red, while the special episode title is “The Poppies Bloom Red on the Battlefield”.
