I wonder if there's really a way to end the Reflectors' sufferings. Kinda doubt it but now, the drama even escalates into a hostage problem.

Watching this episode was tough. The mood was tense but it seems there's also some hope and bonds that motivated characters to fight the good fight.

Uta is still Masochist Uta, that's for sure. Otherwise, the whole "evil" Sisters' angle is just so warped.

To face the same exact hostage situation, they sure don't give up, do they? It's clear that Hiori's older sister Mio is still wavering in her thoughts, and Shion makes the point all clear for her own gain.

At the turning point of the 2nd cour of this long-ass stretched boring show, I don't really care about the game exposition mechanics that the anime is lifting out of. Who thought it's be a good idea to have game adaptations last too long that it already is doomed from the get-go, much less worn out of its welcome instantly.

But anyways, the fight between good and evil has been established to "protect" human feelings, and we can move on to saving Ruka. This "bonds" game is kinda of an idiocy to create drama for the girl who knows everything but nothing, and suffers because of mere simple manipulation, even if Momo, Hiori and Ruka fought the good fight.

How much more must we suffer in getting the inner flower Fragment in us ripped out of our hearts...?

Since Yuri is there and she know about Common and fragments, we can expect Hinako too, my guess is AASA is reflectors society from the characters from the game. About Shino, since all of current reflectors are so good, i am assume she will be killed by Hinako or other reflectors from the game. I am sure she is not human, a manifestation of despair or some boss monster from Common plus she said herself Humans are weak. Will be quite epic if this arc ends with arrival of Hinako and co saving Hiori and co. Current reflectors even with help from dark reflectors are so weak to kill Sephira.

Its now episode 11 and its good.. feelings conflict, between both parties, where they both feel that what they are doing is right.. hiori feels that feelings must be protected and respected, where mio feels that feelings should be all managed.. both sisters colliding their feelings, where only the victor shall take control over the space containing all the feelings of the world.. and its quite true what mios team said, that all because of selfish adults that most children gets such kind of feelings as they have now.. which is why there is a need to control the adults, so that the day where children will now be able to feel all the good.. but that kind of way would only result disaster.. anyways, i rate the episode a 9 of 10, 9 for both story and art.. :)

That was honestly a pretty good episode, can't wait to see what's gonna happen next!
but the story is a bit confusing, even after eleven eps I can't tell what it is trying to do at all.
Still a bit sad about Momo... but I felt something like this was bound to happen, nice to see Yuri Saiki again though.

Oh damn, I really thought that Mio will manage to surpass that brainwashing thanks to Hiori and Momo but it just ended tragically for Momo :/

Yuri is here too? I guess this means they are still in the same 'universe' as the first game even though the rules are different here.

All that's left to do is to explain...

Though I'm starting to wonder what the heck is Shino. She's clearly not a reflector cause no ring but she can amplify feelings and shoot beams apparently.

The anime's getting slightly more interesting now though I hope they don't take another 9 episodes to explain those.

Blue Reflection Ray review. A fascinating show. The surface story is a well designed and plotted magical girl show where the protagonists try to protect other girls' negative feelings from being "consumed" by the antagonists for their own use.

But the show subverts anime tropes to create a sense of foreboding, and way the show plays with the characters' perception of reality makes the viewer question everything they see. The theme of hundreds of girls and women living with social anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome and other mental health problems is a dark commentary on the mores and structures in modern society.

An excellent Anime that is worth bing watching. It has 24 Episodes. + 24 OVA Mini Chibi Episodes all worth watching.

Storyline: 9/10
Art style: 10/10
Music: 9/10
Fight scenes: 9/10
Overall Enjoyment: 9/10

This is one of the best Magical Girl Anime and Video games I have ever watched and played. Some of the characters in the franchise. Hiori Hirahara, Mio Hirahara, Yuzu & Lime Shijō Yuzuki, Shijō Raimu, Ruka Hanari, Shino Mizusaki, Uta Kamogawa, Nina Yamada, Saiki Yuri, Yukiko Takaoka. Gust Koei Tecmo DMM Pictures Games and Anime. Reflector battles.Blue Reflection Ray is a really good Anime. You should watch it if you haven't yet. The music is beautiful, characters are lovable, gameplay is really good. Also the storyline is very enjoyable. I recommend em to everyone who is either into Anime. Or just wants a fun Magical Girl Anime to watch. The transformations are similar to Sailor Moon and Madoka Magica in a way. Some of the art style reminds me of Yuki Yuna is a Hero. Like the color schemes in some scenarios. Ruka Hanari looks similar to Sailor Mars Rei Heino in a way. This has one of the best Anime OST BGM soundtracks I have ever heard hands down. If you have not played Blue Reflection, Tie/Second or even watched the Blue Reflection Ray Anime. Than your missing out. This series is quite enjoyable and lovable. Blue Reflection Ray that takes place between the first and second game that is a must watch. Really enjoyed it a lot. Blue Reflection Sword other the girl who dances in illusions. Blue Reflection Tie.

I love Mel Kishida's art style. It's very pretty. The Anime as a whole is perfect. It may not be the cream of the crop, but it's still really fun. And really enjoyable.
