Working hard but being scolded for not being at her best... You can feel the despair coming from this episode from Chika's life. It's episodes like this that shows the harsh reality of life. |

| Okay, I was worried at first that this was gonna be another formulaic episode, but as soon as the fight began, things really started escalating!! I LOVED the black & white aesthetic of the "arena" this time around. It was a great twist to have the area manager beg for forgiveness. I really believed he was apologetic!! Then when Ranmaru was overcome by those shadow scorpion things, I was shocked! That whole scene was so tense! Ranmaru ended up reviving somehow, which seemed to confirm something for Chilka, who whispered "Betelgeuse." I guess we'll learn more about Chilka's backstory soon, as well as his hisotry with Ranmaru. Uruu, Homura, and Juka realized that they all have something in common: a noteworthy family. The fairy queen seemed a bit disgruntled to hear that they came to this realization, though I'm not sure why. She's up to something! Things are heating up between Uruu and Homura! Their rivalry will probably reach its peak soon. Also, I can't believe that Takara charged about ONE HUNDRED dollars for a bowl of curry!! LOL |
| something about this episode just made me feel awful. Was it the implication that the fairies might not be helping their clients as much as they think? Or was it the scorpion scene? probably the scorpions. I have a phobia of bugs, specifically when they crawl on someone. |
| literally thought Ranmaru was dead. wasn't paying attentoin + watching it on 2x speed, suddenly i look up, and the little grape bitch is disintegrating before my eyes?! |
| i thought since we've already seen all of them in action we would get more insight on the bad guys or the queen (?) but we got another episode of ranmaru being a hero which i'm not actually complaining about it was a good episode nevertheless but i wish we would know a bit more about all the other stuff |
| I hoped that Ranmaru's "death" was real since he's the least interesting of the main cast to me, but alas... If they're going to continue repeating the same formula of individual fairy + random girl I hope they at least change up the order. Or maybe we can get an episode where Homura and Uruu both meet the same client and have to work together. Just a little variation pls |
| I liked getting more backstory about the fairy world, so can we please have more of that? I also wish Ranmaru died for real, so we could go down the Madoka Magica route lol |
