| No. Its shit. The black haired guy isn't even a good character, but he only seems likeable for me since every other character is shit. They are all basic, boring, stupid characters with nothing going for them. If you can't even have one great character in a "character-driven" anime, then your not doing anything right. |

Nope. The difference is that female main character has accepted male main character as part of her life. If she has no issue with that there is no issue. Unless you like to decide for other people while robbing them of their free will. As the guy in the picture does ;). But well, I don't have any expectations after reading the hipocrisy of complaining about a comedy about an harasser while imagining how good a comedy about murder would it be. You still make my day, though, so don't worry. I also remember one of you with the ad hominem of it being "a show targeted at 13 years old teens". It looks like there are also the 18 years old people thinking they know everything about life and human relations just because law says they're adults ;). |

Personally after watching both series up to whats been aired, i can't help to feel higehiro takes itself more seriusly than it should, since the way it handles its themes is just inmature, with characters that behave like they were in a harem romcom, which directly contradicts many of the messages its supposed to be wanting to deliver. On the other hand koikimo was pretty much presented as silly romcom from the very start and has been consistent to that, it actually surpassed my expectations by a lot to be honest. About it being the best of the season, eh... no. There you already have ssss.dynazenon or "fumetsu no anata e" that deserve it more, just to name a few. |

| AOTS? Nah, this anime is very average imo. Enjoyable enough to continue but definitely not the 'best' or anything like that. It doesn't very have much quality to it. Just something lighthearted to pass the time while waiting for other shows to come out. Also, I believe there are already plenty of threads which were created to bash or discuss the moral aspects of this show so why bring them here too. This is a fictional work, people, just chill -.- |

| It's a good anime, but not AOTS for me. With that being said, my tastes are dar from usual and I'd probably give that title to Slime Taoshite 300-nen. But there are a lot of good animes this season: Higehiro, 86, Fumetsu no Anata e, Osamake, Super Cub, Full Dive RPG, Vivy, Shadow's House and so on. It is a shame that this one in particular is being so underrated because the MC does questionable stuff. This is fiction, I don't need my MCs to be perfect people. I still think that those people are the minority tho, I mean animes like Konosuba are widely popular and I wouldn't say that Kazuma is exactly a role model. And if we move further from anime, you can look at the popularity of Game of Thrones... I know that one is set in a medieval setting, but so is Mushoku Tensei and this last one still got a lot of controversy, even though it is so damn good... |
