| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The fight's not great, but not terrible at the very least between the slave boxers and some thugs lurking around Pompeii in full CGI. Emden absolutely delivered in front of Sabina, but being a slave boxer, peasants can't win over royalty, no matter the achievements. For Cestvs, trying to train up to perform a single-hit K.O. is of utmost performance. But getting suddenly invited by Sabina for accompaniment to go to Rome, her cussing of Emden is understandable since he lacks social etiquette. But since Cestvs is loyal to his Master Zafar and the other slave boxers, Sabina trying to coax him ends in failure, so a request that both Emden and Cestvs battle it out just for her extra entertainment and marking. Pompeii's strongest boxer Emden vs. the rookie boxer Cestvs, a gladiator battle full of jealousy and anger, only one will emerge the top. |

| It was a interesting episode, though yeah the cgi fight scene... still not there, but the plot itself is enjoyable enough to keep watching. Let's see if Emden continue to be a dog and obey his master or learn to fight for himself. It's interesting to see two different fighter fighting for different reasons. |

| Clumsy CG and perfect cliffhanger. The BGM of the preview is always crude and uplifting. --- By the way, if I were Cestvs, I would definitely never decline the proposal. He doesn't take life seriously. |

| I don't know what the fuck just happened. The 1st episode was almost full 2d, the 2nd episode had both cg and 2d, now it's only cg, a trash one at that. My eyes hurt. |

| i really miss episode one, it had such potential, the 2d was perfect and the pacing was just right and now i'm not sure what even is happening anymore cause i feel like the gap from the untold story is too big and the 3d is throwing me off |
| The CGI is so fucking ugly And the Vigiles was suppose to uphold law and order in ancient Rome not some noble women and her slaves. Maybe they where created after Nero Anyhow dont really care if its historical correct or not. The CGI is the big deal breaker here IMO |

| I thought Sabina was a decent woman but she's horrible. The way she treats Emden was simply intolerable. But, at the same time, she's interested in Cestvs. Honestly, why's she so obsessed with him. And now she wants Emden to beat the shit out of him. Next week is going to be interesting. Can't wait. |

| Seems like I was mistaken on Sabina being kind. Emotional flashback there on the twisted way Nero tried to stop Cestvs ...or it would've been if they didn't skip over it last ep smh. |
